What are we celebrating today:

On September 22nd, 1972, Pink Floyd played a legendary set at the iconic Hollywood Bowl.

The setlist included an early live version of The Dark Side of the Moon before its official release, as well as a 29-minute rendition of Echoes.

The image on this week’s poster is of Pink Floyd’s Crackers (subtitled Damn Braces: Bless Relaxes), a famous bootleg triple-LP capturing the band’s entire aforementioned concert.

A full moon. An unreleased masterpiece. And Echoes stretching into the night for 29 minutes.

About the Echoes × The Conclave Jam Sessions:

This is a celebration of the uniting power of music, a regular gathering of musicians and aficionados. We’ll have a good old-fashioned jam session with some experimentation, spontaneous collaborations and plenty of good vibes.

❗️There are RULES, though. To make sure everyone gets a chance to play, sign up on the waiting list. Every participant gets a 15-minute slot on stage.

We provide the backline, drums and cables. Just bring your instrument, plug in and create something together. Or simply grab a drink, find a cozy corner and enjoy an evening of live music.

Poza e mai veche, de prin ‘21 sau ‘22 cand aveam studioul la Malmaison și eu încă beam bere. Dar revenind în prezent, miercurea viitoare ne puteți vedea în această formulă la o treabă inedită. Eu scot sunete noi și irepetabile din chitare, pedale, synthuri și tot felul de alte instrumente, iar Radu desenează live pe muzica aia apocaliptică și totuși plăcută, ba chiar fericită, măcar pe alocuri, măcar pentru mine. Ison ambiental de dans și jale, să îi zicem. La Echoes, pe 30 octombrie, la aniversarea lor. Hai ❤

What are we celebrating today:

136 years ago today, the Queen of Crime entered the scene.
Agatha Christie was born on September 15th, 1890. She went on to reshape detective fiction, create Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple, and become the best-selling novelist of all time, with an estimated two billion books sold worldwide.
And there’s a little more to tonight’s poster.
The illustration comes from the very first appearance of Murder on the Orient Express anywhere in print. Before it became the novel we know today, the story was published in the United States as Murder in the Calais Coach, serialized by The Saturday Evening Post across six issues between September 30th and November 4th, 1933, with illustrations by William C. Hoople.
A train full of suspects.
A murder behind a locked door.
And one Belgian gentleman absolutely refusing to be fooled.
More than 90 years later, we’re still trying to solve it before Poirot does.

Pe 12 septembrie, eu, Cristian Pascu, vă invit la un mic concert solo, dar electric, un fel de aniversare a 7 ani de la primul meu concert, susținut pe 12 septembrie, 2019.

De atunci am tot compus, scris și rescris. Proiectul, stilul, vocea, sunt toate încă în curs de definire și căutare de sine. Așa că am ales pentru acest concert cele mai energetice, dar încă personale, melodii.

Pentru o idee a stilului, „O sută de ori” și „Vei privi minunat” pe toate platformele de streaming.

Cu emoție și anticipare, al vostru cu adevărat! :)

Pe 9 septembrie ne întoarcem la Echoes Haus, unul dintre barurile noastre de suflet.

Am început anul mai greu, dar uite că acum suntem pe cai mari și venim într-o formulă nouă, cu saxofon, jazz, live, energie și, evident, cu câteva surprize pe care nu vi le spunem încă. 🎷

Ne-ar bucura tare mult să fim cât mai mulți împreună pe 9 septembrie. Să fie o seară din aia pe care n-o uiți ușor.

Intrarea este pe bază de donații.
Voi veniți, noi cântăm. Restul îl facem împreună.
