Photo of the Super Moon.
The different colors on the surface represent concentrations of different minerals like iron, titanium and aluminium.
Settings:
The full moon was captured with 300 single photos to minimize the atmospheric turbulences. With the usage of a full spectrum Sony α7 R III and a STC Multispectra Filter I improved the sharpness of the "flat" full moon. I used the Fornax Lightrack 2 Star Tracker for tracking. For the "shine" I used a single long exposure shot of the moon seconds after the other shots.
Full moon: 300 single photos: Sony α7 R III (Full Spectrum) + Sony FE 600mm f/4 GM (2x Converter = 1200mm), 1/125s @ f/14.0, ISO 100
Shine: 1 photo: Sony α7 R III (Full Spectrum) + Sony FE 600mm f/4 GM (2x Converter = 1200mm), 1/5s @ f/8.0, ISO 60
