We joined FOHE-BPRC6, organized by UEFISCDI and the Romanian Ministry of Education and Research in Bucharest, 16-18 September. 🇷🇴 A milestone edition, 15 years after the first, bringing researchers and policymakers together to shape the future of European higher education.

🗣️ BEIA at the LDS Country Workshop Romania!

George Suciu joined the panel at the European Language Data Space Country Workshop in Bucharest, discussing Romanian language technologies alongside researchers and industry experts from CrowdStrike, UNSTPB, Adobe/ICIA, and UBB. BEIA shared its R&D portfolio brochures with attendees, including materials on HRIA, DOME, ONCOSCREEN and ONCODIR. 🇷🇴

🎓 BEIA.AT at STAR MSCA R&I Week 2, Ruse!

Five days, one university, a whole lot of knowledge exchange! 🇧🇬 Our colleague Maria Niculae joined researchers from across Europe at the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev" for the STAR MSCA Research & Innovation Week 2, presenting on AI, IoT and ESG reporting.

Between workshops we visited local manufacturers and innovators, from fashion production to car manufacturing, and explored the history of Veliko Tarnovo and the Tsarevets fortress. 🏰

🇷🇴🗣️ Tomorrow: LDS panel on Language Data and Language Technologies for Romanian!

Part of the LDS Country Workshop in Romania, organised by the European Language Data Space, at the PRECIS Center, Politehnica Bucharest, 17 September, 9 AM to 5 PM. 🏛️

The panel at noon willbe with speakers from CrowdStrike, Politehnica Bucharest, Adobe, and UBB, right after opening remarks from the European Commission's DG CONNECT and the Alliance for Language Technologies. 🤖💬

The goal: grow the pool of quality Romanian language data that powers AI and large language models. We can't wait!

🛡️💻 That's a wrap on the European SOC Innovation Forum (ESIF 2026), Bucharest!

Organised by DNSC and the CYDERCO Consortium, co-funded by the EU. SOC leaders and cybersecurity innovators from across Europe came together under the theme "Built separately. Stronger together." 🇪🇺

We presented DOME, our cloud and edge marketplace, alongside AIAS, CIRANET, and CHRISS.

Part of the European Language Data Space (LDS) workshop, held at the PRECIS building of the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest. 🏛️

LDS holds the official EU mandate to build a platform for the collection, sharing, and reuse of multilingual data. That data feeds the large language models and AI language services that businesses depend on. And Romanian needs a strong seat at that table. 💬🤖
