Fundația Plan B has a new home. 🩵

This weekend, Fundația Plan B opened the doors to its new space at Casa Bogdánffy in Cluj.

A place for exhibitions, research, conversations and contemporary art.

For an institution that has been part of the contemporary art conversation for so long, it feels especially good to see the doors open on a home of its own, right there where it all started.

It’s about what catches your eye, what makes you stop, who you run into, what you carry with you. Most importantly, what you leave thinking about.

For a few days, all of it exists in the same room.

Join us this Thursday evening at Sandwich Neurohope for the opening of the Finalists Exhibition of the New Wave Art Prize 2026.

Now on its 2nd Edition, the New Wave Art Prize by Fundatia Bogart fundatiabogart is positioning itself as an important Patron of the arts, supporting emerging Romanian artists.

This year, the prize was open to art students across the country, receiving 55 applications, selecting 8 finalists, and offering 3 equal Prizes of Euro 2000 each. This is a change from last year’s 7 Finalists and 1 Winner format.

The Jury was comprised of: Lorena Breaza, Bogdan Doicescu, Mihnea Mircan, Daniela Palimariu, Ștefan Sava, and Catinca Tabacaru

RAD ART FAIR is proud to be a partner as this new foundation grows and supports the Romanian art scene that we so love. And, as the New Wave Prize evolves, we are interested in shaping its ideal format and awarding the various and multiple talents across the country.

We want to hear from you: 1 Winner for the total Prize money to make a significant difference for an artist at the beginning of his or her career, OR the support shared among 3 Winners to better distribute resources and reflect the various talents among us?
