Global Vision @ C8 Summit in Ukraine

Aurel Cîrstea, Commercial Director at Global Vision, was invited to participate in the high-level Economic Forum held within the framework of the Carpathian Integration Initiative Summit in Bukovel, Ukraine. Bringing together heads of state, senior government officials, representatives of ARICE and UkraineInvest, institutional leaders, investors and business representatives from across the region, the C8 Summit provided a high-level platform for dialogue on economic cooperation, strategic infrastructure, investment and the future development of the Carpathian region.

For Global Vision, taking part in this dialogue is relevant beyond the event itself. It reflects our active involvement in the conversations and partnerships that can shape future investment flows, infrastructure development and cross-border business opportunities.

Aurel joined the panel “PPP, Strategic Infrastructure, State Assets & Investments”, where he brought forward three key ideas: the need for more investment-ready projects, the importance of thinking beyond borders and in terms of economic corridors, and the potential of public assets to become platforms for private investment.

His intervention highlighted the role of public-private partnerships in moving projects from intention to ex*****on by combining public objectives with private capital, technology, operational expertise and long-term accountability.

He also addressed the importance of stronger connectivity between Romania, Ukraine and the wider Carpathian region.Another key point was the opportunity to rethink public assets not simply as assets to be managed, but as foundations for new investment ecosystems capable of attracting capital, businesses and long-term economic activity.

Aurel also highlighted Global Vision’s involvement in supporting Ukrainian companies looking to invest and develop operations in Romania.

Accesul la capital este însă doar o parte din ecuație. La fel de importantă este alegerea partenerului și compatibilitatea dintre valorile, obiectivele și modul de lucru al celor implicați.

Când acționezi pe cont propriu, poți lua decizii rapid și poți răspunde imediat unei oportunități. Într-un parteneriat, însă, decizia trebuie discutată, argumentată și asumată împreună.
Din acest punct de vedere, am înțeles devreme că alinierea de valori este mai importantă decât simplul acces la capital.”

Global Vision is expanding its Bucharest portfolio with the acquisition of a property comprising two office towers in the Charles de Gaulle – Dorobanți area.

Formerly home to Alpha Bank, the property comprises two towers totaling over 10,000 sq. m of gross built area, developed between 2001 and 2004. Both towers feature retail space at ground-floor level, giving the property a mixed-use profile. Today, the European Parliament in Brussels hosts the Transport Without Borders Summit 2026 — a discussion on the infrastructure and logistics challenges shaping Europe's next decade.

, Founder & CEO of Global Vision, takes part in Panel 3, focused on Romania's role as a logistics hub in the context of Ukraine's reconstruction.

It's a conversation close to our work. For two decades, Global Vision has built industrial and logistics assets along Romania's eastern corridors — the same routes that now connect the European Union to Ukraine's recovery.

The panel will look beyond transit. Reconstruction is, before anything else, a question of production — steel, building materials, electrical equipment, machinery — much of which Romania already makes, within reach of the border and to European standard.
