Instead, I chose to begin again.
Because Olivia Loop was never meant to be about making more clothes.
It is about creating pieces worth keeping - pieces that feel personal, distinctive, and unmistakably yours.
So this is where I am now: back at the table, building the first pieces slowly, by hand, and getting every detail closer to what I imagined.
No shortcuts. No rush.
Just the beginning of something I want to make beautifully.

What does slow fashion really mean?
To me, it means not rushing something simply because it could be finished sooner.
It means choosing materials with care. Making a flower by hand, loop by loop. Trying, undoing, and making it again when something doesn’t feel quite right.
It means allowing an idea the time it needs to become what it was meant to be.
There are faster ways to make clothes.
Faster ways to decorate them.
Faster ways to bring something into the world.
But Olivia Loop was never meant to be about fast.
I want every piece to carry something of the hands that made it - the hours, the patience, the tiny decisions no machine could make for us.
Perhaps, in a world where almost everything is becoming faster, making something slowly is a quiet kind of luxury.

Camel wool, warm browns, soft ivory and a touch of olive green - each shade chosen to feel as though it naturally belongs to the next.
Every rose is crocheted by hand, one at a time, before finding its place on the fabric.

Every texture is carefully considered.
Every colour is tested until it finds its perfect harmony with the fabric it will one day become part of.
I don’t rush this process.
Because beautiful things deserve patience.
These roses are slowly becoming something I’ve imagined for a very long time.
