🎧 If VoIP, test automation, and solving tricky communication problems sound like your kind of work, this opportunity might be for you. We’re looking for a Software Engineer in Test to join SII Romania and work on a next-generation ED-137C validation and conformance testing tool for Voice over IP systems used in Air Traffic Control. ✈️

You’ll be working on some genuinely interesting technical challenges: designing TTCN-3 test cases, defining test scenarios for SIP, SDP and RTP, simulating different ATC communication components, and validating aviation-specific features such as PTT, squelch, SELCALL, and radio receiver multicast. You’ll also work with C/C++, Python, CI/CD, test ports and system adaptors, network interfaces, and automated test reporting. 💻

If you have experience with test automation, a good understanding of VoIP and real-time communication, and enjoy digging into network traces and figuring out why something isn’t working, we’d love to hear from you. Experience with TTCN-3 or another protocol testing framework is a plus, as is a good understanding of voice codecs, RTP streams, and system integration. You’ll be part of a team where knowledge sharing, learning, and team spirit genuinely matter. 🤝
