In difficult moments, I like to occupy my mind with beautiful memories - the kind that bring back a sense of strength, wholeness and light.
And there are plenty of those to revisit.
These are some of my favourite moments from Budapest with Ana - Bella Crafts - my partner in crime at Inflow exhibition ＆ Conference , and a kindred spirit when it comes to jewellery, wandering and spontaneous ideas.
A few unplanned collaborations happened along the way: her pieces meeting mine, finding their way into the streets, corners and moods of Budapest.
No styling. No plan. Just two jewellery makers, a beautiful city and the occasional “Wait… these actually look really good together.” 😄
And somehow, Budapest seemed to agree.
Some cities simply know how to wear jewellery.

The past few days have been a little different. I haven’t been able to work, as my full attention has been with one of my sons through some health challenges he’s been facing. Sometimes life simply asks us to pause and put everything else aside.

But in between the worries, I found myself returning to some warm memories from Inflow exhibition and that magical little town of Szentendre.

The colours, the winding streets, the art, the encounters, the full moon over Danube … and that beautiful feeling of being somewhere slightly outside of ordinary time.

So, while the workbench is waiting for me, I’m taking a moment to revisit these memories - and to share them with you, too. 🤍

Perhaps we all need these little pauses sometimes.
A moment to reconnect.

Narrative Space / Encounters.

The collection begins with an encounter: the unexpected discovery of discarded, broken glass. Transformed into wearable objects, these fragments carry a new narrative about our fractured society, broken bond with Nature, and the possibility of reconnecting, in order to sustain.
