🌤️ With summer just starting, we announce this year's editions of GeoTrip have finished, but not before we tell you about the most recent climbed mountain. 🧡

🏔️ In the weekend 31 May - 2 June we changed the location and traveled to the Parâng Mountains, one of the highest mountains in Romania. 🥰

🥾With our boots on and heavy backpacks we encountered lots of adventures, made friends and saw breathtaking landscapes. 🌄

EGEA Bucharest wishes everyone a warm and happy easter around family and friends! 🧡🐰

🧡 The last weekend of february just passed and do you know what happened? Yes, you're right! We had an exchange with EGEA Iași. 🙌🏻

✨ Between 23-25 february our friends from Iasi took a trip all the way to Bucharest to spent an incredible weekend with us. We presented them our city with a guided tour made by our volunteers, visited museums and organized a Treasure Hunt among other activities. 🧩

🍀 We wish them all the best and hope they enjoyed this experience. Can't wait to meet them again. Hugs! 🤗

🚞 All aboard for the last weekend away from home this year. And what year, because guess what, we started 2023 with Iași and we ended it with Iași. Call that best friends forever.

🧡 Between 15 to 17 december our volunteers took their bags one last time and went to descover Iași with a tour organised by .travel , but we also had a night full of games and another one that ended with a party.

🫣 We even got the chance to see Iași by ourselves thanks to the Treasure Hunt they prepared for us.

🥰 It was beautiful in Iași, we are waiting for you in Bucharest.

🫣 Maybe you’ve already notice that this year was full of meeting all of our EGEA friends from around the world. From congress to exchange, all that was left was our precious Romanian Freshmen Weekend.

🧡 Organised by EGEA Bucharest this year, RFW took place in Busteni, between 8 to 10 December.

❓What is RFW? Well, its an extended teambuilding for all of the Entities from EGEA Romania. A weekend full of activities such as a mountain hike through the snow, a guided tour of the city of Sinaia, but also parties and other activities to bring us closer.

🥰 Thank you Geotim Egea Timișoara, Liga Studenților de la Geografie și Geologie - LSGG Iași, EGEA Cluj-Napoca for being there with us, it was magical and we can’t wait to see you again.

🧡To celebrate GIS Day 2022 and to take part in the Geography Awareness Week 2022 we would like to officially announce that the registration for GIS Day Exhibition of EGEA Bucharest is open.

🗺Send us the maps that you are most proud of and we will exhibit them in the Faculty of Geography, University of Bucharest during the International Conference of Faculty of Geography on 18-19 November 2022.
