loc_festival brought the neighbourhood together in the best possible way — lots of people coming and going, good food, cool activities, chit chat - that very nice feeling of having the whole neighbourhood out and about.

At Mira, our Community Table was beautifully set by COMMON HOUSE and filled throughout the day exactly as we’d hoped: people gathering at the table, sharing food and catching up.

And the wonderful Claudia Nicolae brought just the right groove to Sunday afternoon ✨

A big thank you to Mamele din cartier for putting LOC together and giving us all a reason to gather. And to everyone who stopped by, stayed for a while and made the weekend what it was.

De când am deschis Mira, unul dintre lucrurile care ne bucură cel mai tare e cartierul. Ne-a primit frumos, ne-am cunoscut vecinii, am descoperit locurile din jur și, foarte rapid, am început să ne simțim parte din el 💛

Așa că weekend-ul asta e unul pe care il așteptăm cu mare entuziasm: vine loc_festival — Festivalul Cartierului Icoanei–Ioanid, organizat de minunatele fete de la Mamele din cartier . Și se întâmplă o gramadă de lucruri cool și la noi, și prin vecini🥂

La Mira ne pregătim tot weekend-ul cu un meniu special de tartar, în variante clasice, dar cu câte un twist - tartar de ton cu mango și mandarine, tartar de somon cu avocado și spicy mayo, tartarul nostru de vită şi o variantă cu roșii și telemea de la Obor. Și bineînțeles câteva băuturi făcute special pentru ocazie 🍸

Duminică, începând cu ora 13:00, o avem cu noi pe Claudia Nicolae - cu ritmuri chill, perfecte de brunch în grădină.

Și mai avem ceva la care ținem tare: Masa Comunității. O masă lungă, pregătită de Romina Banu de la COMMON HOUSE, la care nu trebuie să fii invitat și nu trebuie să cunoști pe nimeni. Doar să te așezi 🫶 Cu vecini, prieteni sau oameni pe care îi întâlnești pentru prima dată. Iar pentru toți cei care iau loc la Masa Comunității, avem 10% discount la notă, toată ziua de duminică.

✨️ At Cinema Elvire Popesco on Tuesday, September 22nd, the preview screening of “Strada Malaga”, a movie to watch with all the women in your life.

✨️ At Teatrul Point “fort/da”, on September 26th & September 27th  

✨️ At Teatrul Excelsior, 10 minutes walk from our place, the official premiere of “Great Expectations”, on September 30 & October 1st. And we can’t wait!

✨️ At Nottara the preview performances of “Amadeus”, on September 19th & 20th.

A couple of day ago, we opened Between Earth and Table, together with Ioana Moldovan

An evening over a few glasses, many conversations and a lot of people stopping to look a little closer.

A new photo exhibition is coming to Mira 🤍

On September 9th, we’re opening Between Earth and Table, a photography exhibition by Ioana Moldovan — documentary photographer, photojournalist and writer whose work has taken her from everyday life in Romania to conflict zones and communities around the world.

This time, her camera turns towards something seemingly ordinary: food — and everything that exists before it reaches our table.

Between Earth and Table follows the journey from landscape to plate, looking at the places, people, work and rituals behind what we eat.

The exhibition moves from territory to intimacy, from collective environments to individual rituals. It’s a story about sustenance, but also about climate, tradition, belonging and the quiet relationships between people and the environments they depend on.

We’re very happy to have Ioana with us for the opening, so come meet her, see the exhibition and stay for a drink and a conversation.
