More food arrived this week for the families at our Life for Ukraine center, with another delivery already planned for next week.

A few weeks ago, Airdrom in Bucharest provided food for families at our center. In September, we plan to meet again and officially begin a new partnership.

We are grateful for another organization coming alongside our mission!

A special moment during our trip to Bulgaria earlier this month 💙💛 Egor was able to apply for his foreign passport. While there, he also had the opportunity to see his mother for the first time in four years. ❤️

🇺🇦 Celebrating Ukrainian Independence Day in Constanța!

Life for Ukraine was proud to take part in a special community event celebrating Ukrainian Independence Day. Families gathered for music, dancing, activities, and a wonderful day together.

Our team handed out water and treats to the children and connected with other organizations working to support Ukrainians in Romania and beyond.

We've been keeping busy every day caring for families, hosting sports activities for children twice a week, and planning new projects for the future.
Today we received photos showing the latest aid from our center for Ukrainian refugees.
We also have some encouraging news. Last week, Julia traveled to Ukraine and connected with a new organization that supports displaced families. After speaking with them, we're working together to send more clothing to refugee families with children. 🇺🇸🇷🇴🇺🇦

💪🏻Thanks to donated exercise equipment, we’ve started regular fitness activities at the center. The children will now participate in training sessions twice each week, and we’ll continue adding mats and additional equipment as the program grows.
These activities are about much more than exercise. They help build confidence, friendships, teamwork, and joy. 💙💛

💙 We recently partnered up with Romexpo in Bucharest to expand support for refugee families in Constanța and deliver essential supplies to Ukraine. Together, we can do more.

To celebrate the successful completion of their English exams, we organized a beach picnic along the Black Sea. The children enjoyed pizza, sweets, games, and time together by the water.

This week, we received a large delivery of food from our food bank partners, including potatoes, bread products, and other essentials. Our team spent several days distributing these supplies to families throughout the region and stocking our center.

We also welcomed two new refugee families living in Costinești, about 40 kilometers from Constanța, and were able to provide them with food assistance as they begin rebuilding their lives.
