We are proud to announce that EvB Group has officially started works on a new 10 MWp agrivoltaic solar project in Casalbuttano ed Uniti, Cremona, Lombardy, Italy.
Our teams are now mobilized on site, marking the beginning of another important project for EvB Group in the Italian renewable energy market.
⚙️ Our scope of works includes:
• Pile driving
• Mechanical assembly of the tracking system
• Module installation
• DC electrical installation
• Inverter installation and connections
• Electrical measurements and DC testing
• Site logistics and material handling
The project consists of a 9.9996 MWp agrivoltaic tracking system, comprising 15,384 photovoltaic modules, with EvB Group involved across the main mechanical and DC installation phases.
🤝 The project is being delivered in partnership with Alcon Photovoltaic for SOLWAVE POWER PLANT GmbH.
For us, this is more than the start of another construction site.
It represents another concrete step in strengthening EvB Group's presence in Italy and another opportunity to demonstrate what defines our work across Europe:

Every utility-scale solar project starts long before the first kilowatt-hour is produced.

It starts with planning, engineering, logistics, coordination, and thousands of individual decisions that must come together at the right time and in the right place.

These images capture the early stages of construction at our photovoltaic project in Orvieto, Italy. The mounting structures are in place, equipment and materials are arriving on site, and the transformation from a greenfield location into a renewable energy asset is well underway.

While the final result will be measured in installed megawatts and clean energy generation, the real challenge lies in managing the process that gets us there.

Each delivery, each installed component, and each completed work package represents another step toward a fully operational solar power plant.

From above, the progress becomes impossible to miss.

These aerial views show our photovoltaic project in Rignano Flaminio, Italy, now approaching the completion of the mechanical installation phase. Structures, mounting systems, trackers and PV modules are largely in place, marking a major milestone in the project's development.

Reaching this stage requires much more than construction work. It is the result of months of engineering, planning, logistics, coordination and the dedication of highly skilled teams working together toward a common objective.

As the mechanical works draw to a close, the focus is gradually shifting toward electrical installation, testing, commissioning and final energization.

Every completed row of modules brings us one step closer to delivering clean energy infrastructure that will generate renewable power for decades to come.
