🤔 A Question That Will Search Your Heart

If Heaven measured your life today, would you still be considered "first"—or have you only been first in the eyes of people?

Many chase the applause of men while neglecting the approval of God. The Kingdom of God operates by principles that often contradict the systems of this world. What appears successful on earth may carry little weight in eternity, while those hidden in prayer, faithfulness, humility, and obedience may receive the greatest reward from the King.

🌾 The Kingdom Has a Different Ranking System

In this world, greatness is measured by wealth, influence, titles, popularity, followers, and recognition.

But in God's Kingdom, greatness is measured by:

❤️ Humility
🙏 Obedience
🔥 Faithfulness
💎 Purity of heart

The Kingdom does not celebrate those who merely stand on platforms—it honors those who carry the heart of Christ.

Jesus was not condemning excellence. He was exposing pride and self-exaltation.

👑 Being First Before Men Does Not Mean Being First Before God

Many appear spiritually successful because people celebrate them.
Yet Heaven looks beyond appearance.

God examines:

> "For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."

Some who are celebrated publicly may have neglected intimacy with God.

Others who are unnoticed by society are storing treasures in Heaven every single day.

🌊 The Hidden Life Is Never Hidden From God

The widow who gave two mites seemed insignificant.

Yet Jesus honored her above the wealthy.

The woman who washed Jesus' feet with her tears was rejected by religious people.

Yet Heaven remembered her worship forever.

The thief on the cross entered Paradise while many religious leaders rejected the Messiah.

The Kingdom always surprises human expectations.

🌿 The Danger of Thinking You Have Already Arrived

One of the greatest spiritual dangers is becoming comfortable because of past victories.

Some were once passionate in prayer.
Some once burned with holiness.
Some once walked in deep intimacy with God.
But success replaced surrender.
Recognition replaced dependence.
Activity replaced communion.
When pride enters, decline begins.

The Kingdom belongs to those who remain dependent on the Holy Spirit every day.

🕊️ The Last Are Often Those Who Choose the Lowest Place

Those who forgive instead of seeking revenge.
Those who pray when no one is watching.
Those who serve without applause.
Those who remain holy when compromise is easier.
Those who continue trusting God when no one notices.
These may seem "last" before men.
But Heaven calls them great.

One day crowns will be distributed.
Rewards will be given.

Many whom society ignored will shine like stars in God's Kingdom.

Never underestimate a life lived faithfully before God.

Heaven keeps perfect records.

❤️ Final Revelation

Jesus was teaching that **God's Kingdom overturns human standards of greatness**. Those who exalt themselves, trust in status, or seek recognition above obedience may discover that earthly honor does not guarantee eternal reward. Conversely, those who walk in humility, faithful service, repentance, and wholehearted devotion—even if overlooked by the world—will be richly honored by God.

The Father's eyes are not searching for celebrities.
He is searching for surrendered hearts.
Live for the applause that comes from Heaven, not from people.
When your reward comes from God, no person can take it away.

Heavenly Father, deliver me from pride, selfish ambition, and the desire for human applause. Give me a humble heart that seeks Your approval above all else. Teach me to serve faithfully whether I am seen or unseen. Let my life be marked by obedience, holiness, and love. May I finish my race well and hear You say, "Well done, good and faithful servant." Lucifer (the Hebrew name Helel ben Shachar, meaning “son of the morning”) was created as one of the highest angels, full of beauty, wisdom, and perfection.

He was called to reflect God’s glory, and to serve in the heavenly courts.

Everything about him radiated light and honor,slowly pride comes to his heart

He started wanting something that was never his.
He wanted to rise higher, to take God’s place, to receive the glory meant only for the Creator.
Ambition turned to rebellion, beauty turned to envy, worship turned into self-promotion.

And it didn’t stop there…

Lucifer began to influence and manipulate other angels, pulling them into his rebellion.
He used his charm, skills or excellence, and pulled other's away from God. One third of the angels followed him… and the son of the morning became the enemy of God.

He lost his position, his purpose, and his place in heaven,not that his skills or talent are not enough, but he let pride reign in his heart....

And today, we face the same danger.

We are given gifts and opportunities to honor God,
But sometimes there's a small voice in our hearts.
“I deserve more. I deserve better. I want the spotlight.”

We forget that our talents are for God’s glory, not for our self-promotion.

This is where Lucifer’s story becomes a warning for us today.

When pride grows, relationships break.
When ego rises, unity fades.
When self becomes the focus, God gets pushed out.

We see this everywhere now
in workplaces, friendships, ministries, families, even online. People competing for attention, positions, validation. People forgetting who gave them the gift in the first place…

Pride still destroys.
Humility still protects.
Obedience still keeps us aligned with God’s purpose.

📖 Ezekiel 28:14-16
“You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created, till wickedness was found in you.”

“How you have fallen from heaven, morning star. You said, ‘I will ascend,’ but you are brought down to the depths of the pit.”

Gifts are meant to reflect God.
Humility preserves, pride destroys.
Obedience honors God, rebellion ruins us…

TOPIC: ALLOW NO BARRIERS TO THE GOSPEL

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.” - (Isaiah 61:1)

READ: 1 Corinthians 9:16-17 (KJV)

[16] For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! [17] For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.

MESSAGE:
People keep asking why The Redeemed Christian Church of God is so successful all over the world. As a matter of fact, we are in some nations where Christianity is not allowed. In some of these nations, we baptise people secretly, and whenever we want to talk about the blood of Jesus, we say BOJ. We have had considerable impact in some of these nations because we did not allow anything deter us from spreading the gospel. We hold Bible Study meetings in open fields and miracles happen. Sometimes, the political leaders in such places come quietly at night, acknowledging that our God is the Almighty.

There was once a lady evangelist and missionary who was working in a village in Africa. In that village, she got everybody to become born again. The people realised what God had done for them, and they were on fire for Him. The lady then decided to convert those in the neighbouring village too. She informed the people around her about her plans, but they were not in favour of it. "You can go to another village, ma'am, not there," they advised. She asked, "Why not?" They replied, "Because there are lions on the way. We have been hearing them roaring, and when they roar like that, it means they are hungry. Please, don't go near that village." "But I must go," she insisted. So, a very elderly and feeble man said to her, "Okay, if you must go, I will go with you." The evangelist looked at him and said, "If a lion attacks, even I can defend myself better than you can." The man said, "You don't understand; lions don't attack when they are full. They only kill when they are hungry. So, the idea is this: I will walk ahead of you, the lions will kill and eat me, and then your way will be clear." Those villagers were ready to lay down their lives for the gospel to reach the unreached.

Beloved, God will not be asking you for too much by telling you to preach to your boss, for instance. However, if you are afraid you might lose your job and refuse to do it, you will be hindering an unsaved soul from hearing the gospel and becoming saved. Do not let any barrier keep you from preaching the gospel; God is counting on you to prevent many people from heading towards eternal damnation.

ACTION POINT:
Always use every opportunity you have to tell people about Jesus.
