Yunovidov Georgiy gets his shot at revenge as he faces Chris Thompson for the IBA.PRO Intercontinental heavyweight title at IBA Champions’ Night: Vologda Region Governor’s Cup on September 11 🇷🇺

Thompson defeated Yunovidov by unanimous decision at IBA.PRO 11 in Manila last October to claim the belt. Now they run it back over eight rounds — with the title once again on the line.

Does Thompson repeat, or will Yunovidov settle the score on home soil? 🥊

Антон Кадушин, head coach of WBA heavyweight champion Murat ''IRON'' Gassiev, says negotiations are underway for Murat to face Jarrell Miller later this year, with the fight potentially taking place on the Fury–Joshua card.

“Following his defeat, Itauma is no longer the WBA’s official challenger for Murat’s title. Miller was next in line, and we expect the WBA to name him as the next challenger. Nothing is official yet, but we’re ready,” Kadushin said in a video posted to his IG account.

Chris Thompson expects history to repeat itself — but this time, he wants the stoppage 👀

After defeating Georgy Yunovidov by unanimous decision at IBA.PRO 11 in Manila last October, the South African heavyweight meets him again on September 11 in Vologda, with the IBA.PRO Intercontinental heavyweight title on the line.

“The fans are in for an action-packed, high-paced fight. He’s a great opponent and I respect him, but I’m coming for the stoppage.”

Anton Kadushin, head coach of WBA heavyweight champion Murat ''IRON'' Gassiev, has provided an update on his fighter’s next move.

“A unification fight with Hrgović is out of the question for now because the Croatian will definitely take a break. Next, we’ll be watching the Dubois–Wardley rematch on October 17 with great interest. Itauma is no longer the WBA title challenger, and the International Boxing Association has named Jarrell Miller as Murat’s challenger. We’re currently negotiating a fight with Jarrell Miller. We’ll see what happens next. God willing, Murat will fight once more before the end of the year,” Kadushin told Match TV.

Anton Kadushin, head coach of WBA heavyweight champion Murat Gassiev, reacted to the IBF heavyweight title fight between Moses Itauma and Filip Hrgović.

“I’ve been saying it all along: Itauma is still green. He’s fast, promising and talented, but still too young to fight grown, experienced men. The outcome was obvious and predictable.”

Murat Gassiev’s coach Anton Kadushin is keeping a close eye on Itauma vs Hrgovic ahead of their fight today for the vacant IBF heavyweight title.

“We’re watching closely. The fourth major heavyweight champion will be crowned,” Kadushin said.
