Root Foundation - Rwanda

Meet Uwase Jolly!

An exceptional, multi-talented young individual with remarkable skills in both modern and traditional dance.

Jolly is one of the incredible children who have grown through Root Foundation’s programs. She has also given back to her community by training and mentoring the girls in our traditional dance program.

Her exceptional talent and dedication to traditional dance have earned her a scholarship to pursue her A-Level studies—a powerful testament to the opportunities that talent can create.

At Root Foundation, we believe that when children are given the opportunity to discover, develop, and nurture their talents, they can unlock a world of possibilities. This is at the heart of our Talent Programs.

On Saturday 29th August 2025, the foundation held another Parents Fellowship that aimed at teaching parents saving skills and also their role in reducing school dropouts.

On Saturday, we had an amazing Personal Development Program (PDP) session focused on academic goal setting with our beloved participants.

Together, we explored the importance of setting clear goals, staying focused, and taking intentional steps toward a brighter future. One goal at a time, we are shaping dreams into reality!

After 7 years of countless music sessions, the continues to prove its excellence, dedication, and incredible growth. 🎺🎶 Great thanks to

A huge thank you to for considering us for his new summer international banger, . Being part of this video was more than just an opportunity but a chance to open doors of hope, inspiration, and endless possibilities for our young musicians.

Thank you, , for believing in our talent and giving our musicians a platform to shine. 🙏🏽❤️

Thank you, Meline. 💙

After one incredible year of service, we say goodbye to a volunteer whose passion and love have touched so many lives at Root Foundation.

When Meline joined us, she took on the challenge of rebuilding our Modern Dance Program from scratch. Through her dedication, patience, and belief in every child, the program grew from just one participant to a thriving team of talented young dancers. More than teaching dance, she gave our children confidence, hope, and a place where they could express themselves freely.

Your kindness, commitment, and genuine love for our children will always be remembered. Thank you for giving your time, sharing your talent, and making such a lasting impact on the Root Foundation family.

Though we will miss you dearly, your legacy will continue to live on in every child you inspired. We wish you nothing but success, happiness, and God's richest blessings in the journey ahead.

Once Root Family, Always Root Family. ❤️
