Learn Work Develop - LWD

Today in Kiramuruzi Sector, Gatsibo District, LWD, as an implementing partner of the Beyond Boundaries Project, conducted a training for 48 parents selected from all villages of the sector on Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).
The training covered adolescent growth and body changes, adolescent-friendly health services, prevention of early pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, the consequences of teenage pregnancy, and menstrual health.

The trained parents will further share this knowledge within their communities and support awareness-raising on SRHR, particularly in relation to teen mothers.

Day One focused on equipping parents with the knowledge needed to strengthen SRHR awareness and support for young people in their communities.
