May be you don’t like some aspect of the religion, either you don’t want to do it, or not ready yet to adapt to that order/instruction from Allah SW. And liberal voices around you also support your idea. So you made something lawful to you without any evidence. E.g ok to give some bribe, interest, watch slightly obscene dramas, it’s ok to sometimes eat such food etc.

Giving/taking bribe did get the job done, dealing with interest did make your money portfolio grow, dramas did provide you some relaxation & enjoyment, and food will definitely give you energy.

Similarly, on the other side of spectrum, you will find people who will make religion so difficult with a lot of restrictions/refinement that they are preaching something that was never prescribed by Allah SW in the first place. So they restricted something without any evidence.

Always double check what is lawful and what is restricted byAllah SW before following such people. Allah SW says in the Qur’an:

Surah An-Nahl
Verse 116

“And don’t say, (which is) described by your tongue, but (in reality) is a lie, this is lawful and this is forbidden. So you fabricated lies to Allah. Verily, those who fabricated lies against Allah, they will never prosper.”

Verse 117
“A brief (passing) enjoyment (in this worldly life) and for them is a painful torment (in the hereafter).”

Rabbi Ul Awwal

Third month of Islamic Calender is Rabbi Ul Awwal (Rabbi 1). Rabbi means spring. Awwal means first/one. So this is the month of First Spring.

In 2026 it started on 13/14 August and will end around Sep 12.

Important events during this month are as follows:

-Birth of Prophet SAW either on 9 or 12 Rabbi Ul Awwal and reportedly it was Monday. Someone asked Prophet SAW why he fasted on mondays and he said due to Monday being the day of his birth, being sent as messenger and received revelation. Muslim 1162

-Death of Prophet SAW on 12 Rabbi Ul Awwal

-10th Rabhi Ul Awwal - Grandfather of Prophet SAW - Abdul Muttalib RA passed away. Same date possibly later in life Prophet SAW married Hazrat Khadija RA

-15th - Building of 1st masjid - Quba Masjid

-4 AH - Hazrat Zainab RA - Wife of Prophet SAW passed away

-10 AH - Prophet’s son with wife Maria Qibtiya RA Ibrahim passed away

-Hazrat Abu Bakr was appointed caliph

-As Hijrah of Prophet Muhammad SAW was on 27th Safar so from reports He SAW eventually reached madina in Rabbi ul Awwal
