يسرُّنا أن نعلن عن إطلاق النسخة رقم 2.0 من تطبيقنا الرائد "قارئ الكتب الإلكترونية"، والذي صُمم ليتيح للمستخدمين وصولاً سلساً إلى المطبوعات الإلكترونية في الاقتصاد الإسلامي، والتمويل، والتنمية المستدامة.

تم تطوير التطبيق بالشراكة مع كوراسبوند Koraspond، الشركة التقنية التي تتخذ من جدة مقراً لها، وهو متاح على الأجهزة الذكية وكذلك على الحوسبة السحابية لدعم القراءة عبر الشاشات الأكبر حجماً.

من أبرز التحسينات على النسخة الجديدة من التطبيق ما يلي:
- واجهة جديدة سهلة الاستخدام تعزز تجربة المستخدم الشاملة
- العودة التلقائية إلى موضع التوقف في القراءة
- مزامنة سلسة للملاحظات وموضع التقدم في القراءة عبر مختلف الأجهزة
- إبقاء التعليقات التوضيحية المحفوظة في حال استبدال ملف الكتاب الإلكتروني
- تصنيف شخصي لمجموعات الكتب لتسهيل التنظيم
- إمكانية البحث في كل نصوص الكتاب
- تحميل أسرع للكتب الإلكترونية التي تم تنزيلها

We are excited today to announce the release of version 2.0 of our pioneering IsDBI Reader, designed to offer seamless access to publications in Islamic economics, finance, and sustainable development.

The Reader was developed in partnership with Koraspond,a technology firm based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It is available as an app for smart devices and as a web-based cloud reader that supports reading on larger screens.

The latest updates to the Reader include:

➡️ Synchronization of annotations and reading progress across devices
➡️ Retaining saved annotations when an ebook file is replaced

كفاية رأس المال في المصارف الإسلامية:

اختتم معهد البنك الإسلامي للتنمية بالتعاون مع مركز صندوق النقد الدولي للاقتصاد والمالية في الشرق الأوسط ورشة العمل المشتركة الأولى بعنوان "انعكاسات معايير بازل 3 على كفاية رأس المال في البنوك الإسلامية".

ساهمت ورشة العمل في تعميق فهم المشاركين لإطار رأس المال الرقابي وانعكاساته على المصارف الإسلامية، حيث تناولت الجلسات نسبة الرافعة المالية والجوانب الرئيسة ذات صلة بتقييم متانة المؤسسات المصرفية الإسلامية وسلامتها المالية.

Capital Adequacy for Islamic Banks:

The Islamic Development Bank Institute (IsDBI) and the International Monetary Fund Middle East Center for Economics and Finance successfully concluded a joint workshop titled “Capital Adequacy Implications for Islamic Banks Based on Basel III.”

The workshop provided participants with an in-depth understanding of the regulatory capital framework and its implications for Islamic banks.

It also addressed the leverage ratio and other key aspects relevant to assessing the resilience and financial soundness of Islamic banking institutions.

The workshop was attended by representatives from the central banks and ministries of finance of various countries.

The diverse participation provided an opportunity for participants to exchange experiences and discuss regulatory and supervisory challenges related to capital adequacy in their respective jurisdictions.

اختتم معهد البنك الإسلامي للتنمية بالتعاون مع مؤسسة أوقاف موريشيوس أعمال المؤتمر الدولي للأوقاف، الذي انعقد في الفترة من 3 إلى 5 سبتمبر 2026م تحت عنوان "إحياء الوقف من أجل التمكين المجتمعي: بناء ركائز وقفية قوية عبر الإدارة الإستراتيجية والحوكمة الرشيدة والاستثمار المستدام".

أتاح المؤتمر منصة رفيعة المستوى لاستكشاف سبل إحياء الوقف بوصفه مؤسسة تراثية ومحركاً عصرياً للتنمية الاجتماعية والاقتصادية، حيث شاركت فيه وفود من جزر القمر، ومدغشقر، وماليزيا، وسنغافورة، وجزر المالديف، وموزمبيق، وجزيرة ريونيون، وسيشيل، وجنوب أفريقيا، وتنزانيا، والمملكة المتحدة.

Waqf as driver of socio-economic development:

The Islamic Development Bank Institute (IsDBI) and Awqaf - Mauritius Foundation successfully concluded the International Waqf Conference held in Port Louis, Mauritius, from 3 to 5 September 2026.

The conference was organized under the theme “Reviving Waqf for Community Empowerment: Building Strong Waqf Foundations through Strategic Management, Good Governance and Sustainable Investment.”

It provided a high-level platform to explore how waqf can be revitalized as a heritage institution and transformed into a modern driver of socio-economic development.

Participants from Mauritius, Comoros, Madagascar, Malaysia, Singapore, Maldives, Mozambique, Reunion, Seychelles, South Africa, Tanzania and the United Kingdom attended the conference.
