MB&F and Caran d'Ache celebrate the 15th anniversary of the M.A.D.Gallery with the GorillaSharpener — transforming the iconic Caran d’Ache sharpening machine into a playful piece of mechanical art shaped like a knuckle-walking gorilla.

Finished in Alpine Frost blue, the fully functional sharpener combines zinc alloy, steel and chrome-plated components, elevated on sculpted gorilla-like limbs that make it appear almost ready to move across the desk.

Released on World Gorilla Day, the GorillaSharpener also supports the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund and is limited to just 300 pieces worldwide — a playful reminder of MB&F’s belief that “A creative adult is a child who survived.”

The frog is back. Louis Erard and Konstantin Chaykin return with the Unfrogettable, now in two new expressions: electric turquoise and warm brown.

Its playful face is built around a horizontal regulator display, with the hours and seconds shown through the rotating eyes and an arrow-shaped hand indicating the minutes across the centre. The watch comes in a 40 mm Grade 5 titanium case, with the crown positioned at 12 o’clock as part of the character, and is paired with a black Himeji Kurozan leather strap finished with traditional Japanese Urushi lacquer.

Limited to 178 pieces per colour, the Unfrogettable keeps the same unmistakable personality while giving the character two completely different moods.

MB&F unveils the SP One Pavée with a more precious expression of its mechanical artistry, encircling the suspended movement with a delicate constellation of diamonds.

At its centre, the barrel, balance wheel and inclined dark-blue dial appear to float within the case, creating the signature “Three Circles” architecture. A total of 255 diamonds trace the case, fl**ge, crown and buckle, framing the movement rather than overpowering it.

Precious without excess, the SP One Pavée brings together haute horlogerie and high jewellery with rare subtlety — a quieter, more sophisticated expression of MB&F’s unmistakably unconventional world.

Louis Erard introduces the Marqueterie de Paille, a new Métiers d’Art creation made in collaboration with Portuguese artist Bernardo D’Orey, bringing the rare craft of straw marquetry to the watch dial in a distinctly contemporary way.

Each dial is handcrafted entirely from rye straw, with the material individually selected, opened, flattened and arranged by hand. Around 12 hours of work go into every dial, which is built from 28 individually composed sections to create the abstract “Broken Ice” pattern. The different directions of the natural fibres allow the surface to constantly shift in colour, texture and reflection as the watch moves.

Limited to just 25 pieces worldwide, each with its own unique straw-marquetry dial.

M.A.D.Editions introducing the M.A.D.3 Vincent Calabrese — a collaboration between M.A.D.Editions and legendary independent watchmaker Vincent Calabrese, reimagining his iconic Baladin concept for a new generation.

Its unique take on the jumping-hour complication allows the hour to travel progressively across the dial rather than jumping instantly, creating a fluid and almost hypnotic way of reading time.

It comes in two launch editions: raspberry pink for The Tribe and Friends, and blue through the M.A.D.Editions raffle.
