On 23–28 August, SIPRI and its partners hosted the 2026 Armament and Disarmament Summer School in Stockholm and Uppsala. An annual initiative, the week-long programme seeks to empower early career professionals by expanding their knowledge and skills in the fields of disarmament, nuclear non-proliferation and arms control.

The Armament and Disarmament Summer School is hosted by and the Alva Myrdal Centre for Nuclear Disarmament at Uppsala University, in cooperation with the Odesa Center for Nonproliferation.

Development cooperation is under increasing pressure to deliver effective, context-responsive interventions. This new policy brief is intended for donors seeking to strengthen humanitarian–development–peace nexus programming by drawing on lessons from SIPRI’s research on the hashtag Resilience Partnership.
