I’m feeling a mix of excitement, nerves and “how is this actually happening?” energy. Tomorrow’s show is one I’ve been looking forward and very excited to step into this room and see what happens. 👀✨

For six years I did everything alone and called it independence. Then I met my agent in 2017. Handed over my inbox. Held my breath. And she 4xed my income in year one.

Not magic. A team. The people who made it to wherever you are trying to go did not do it by themselves. Neither should you.

There’s something special about performing live, the moment the room gets quiet, everyone leans in, and suddenly someone’s impossible prediction is sitting right in front of them. I genuinely loved this evening. Thank you to everyone who joined in, played along and made it so much fun. These are the moments I love most. 🤍

Talented and broke is not a personality trait. It is a fixable problem.

Some things cost more than money. Saying yes when I’m already exhausted. Waiting until an idea feels completely safe. Letting one thing that went wrong take up more space than everything that went right.

Still working on all of the above, by the way. Being a magician does not come with a fully sorted life. Slightly disappointing. 😅

The luggage situation, however, is very serious.

I get handed a microphone for work. Luckily, I also get plenty of chances to listen. To the speakers I introduce. The people behind the event. The guests who come over afterwards and somehow turn a quick hello into a conversation I’m still thinking about on the way home.

There’s a lot to love about this job. Getting to meet people I might never have crossed paths with otherwise is pretty high on the list.

One of the best parts of this work is the people I get to meet.

Every event brings new conversations, new stories and new perspectives. I meet people who are building something meaningful, taking a brave next step, making a difference in their communities or simply showing up with an energy that stays with me long after the event is over.

The magic happens on stage, but the people I meet are often what make the work truly memorable. ✨
