14 months ago we racked a heavily fruited raspberry sour into a mix of Buffalo Trace and Wyoming Bourbon barrels. What came out of these barrel was a liquid unlike anything we’d ever tasted. Big, rich, complex.

But why stop there?

Together with the guys at Corporate Ladder we decided that we’d condition this beer further in an extreme charge of wild blueberries (Vaccinium myrtillus) and give it a cheesecake treatment.

The result: breathtaking.

With this beer we wanted to showcase a raw lager experience. Like eating an oyster. Clean.

Under the guidance of Reece Donzoko Brewery and Taproom we carefully nurtured a Sauergut culture for pH adjustment the old school way. Blended a grist composed of unmalted barley generously provided by our friends at Warbro Kvarn and floor malted barley from Weyermann ® Specialty Malts
Hops: Tettnang and Hallertauer Mittelfrüh.
