✅68% lower carbon footprint, lighter weight, and the same durability. These are some of the benefits Bugaboo has achieved through a material transition from PA6 to PP from Polykemi.

As the global market leader in premium stroller, Bugaboo developed one of their latest launches, the Dragonfly Plus stroller, using a carefully selected range of PP materials.

🧩Material selection, implementation, optimization and production are all closely connected parts of the same process.

But every production setup has its own requirements.

This is why technical understanding and close dialogue are important throughout the entire journey. Material performance, production conditions and application requirements all need to be considered together.

With dedicated contacts and technically skilled advisors, conversations stay closely aligned with both application needs and production realities.

Johan Sonesson is one of our dedicated Area Sales Managers, who is especially good at staying with the process from start to finish, while keeping the journey enjoyable along the way 👌

Educational visit at our US Factory 🎓
Students from the Gaston County Commissioners’ School of Excellence visited our facility in Gastonia, USA for a site visit focused on sustainability and manufacturing. They were part of the Eco Challenge program, which focuses on environmental responsibility and explores how local businesses can reduce their ecological footprint while developing and producing products.

The students explored our production process, sustainability efforts, and laboratory work through presentations and guided tours led by our team.

It was a great opportunity to share how we work with environmental responsibility in practice and to engage with the next generation of future leaders.

Team spirit on and off the field ⚽
At Polykemi Mexico, we’re already in World Cup mode! With Mexico as one of the host countries for FIFA World Cup 2026, the countdown has officially begun – and the jerseys are on.

Fernando, Octavio and Alfredo are ready for the opening match – are you?
