Each market, I have to decide on a focus and what items to bring. Other than a few classic staples, I try to bring different pieces out each time. If you're coming and looking for something specific, do DM me.

Can't make it to either pop-up in October? Upthrift, Queensway is always there. Just message me first, hours shift around a bit.

Some plates carry more than a pattern.

She thrifted these as a student in the Midwest, fifteen years ago. Vintage souvenir plates likely made in the 1950s or 60s as decals were probably hand applied, sitting just slightly off-centre. She's moved around a lot since then. These are some of the only things she's kept from that chapter of her life.

Now they hold mooncakes and local favourites (rum balls!) at gatherings that have nothing to do with the Midwest.

Her words: "They will be a great conversation piece as I deploy them for tea and kueh parties!"

Retro Kulture is coming to Kapo Factory on 4 October, and I'll be there!

I will be making new whimsical clocks & tiered stands. Will also be destashing my vintage tea sets, and maybe a few vintage bags and brooches too.

The Dragon Clock. Some patterns you just recognise immediately. This blue and white dragon design comes from a rice grain plate, the kind many of us grew up seeing in our grandparents' homes. I've turned it into a wall clock, so it can carry on being looked at every day, just for a different reason now.

Other familiar vintage plate patterns are getting the same treatment too.
