Protect Her Today - Save Her Future Jingle

The Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is one of the leading causes of cervical cancer, a disease that has taken the lives of many women and mothers across the world. The good news is that HPV can be prevented through routine immunization.

The Network Movement for Democracy and Human Rights (NMDHR) calls on parents, teachers, religious leaders, traditional leaders, and community stakeholders to take HPV vaccination seriously and support the routine immunization campaign led by the Ministry of Health, EPI, and GAVI.

Protecting our girls today means protecting the mothers, leaders, and future of our children. The HPV vaccine is safe, effective, and life-saving. Parents are encouraged to ensure that eligible girls receive the vaccine at the nearest health facility or outreach center.

Teachers and community leaders also have an important role to play by creating awareness, correcting misinformation, and encouraging families to embrace vaccination.

Let us work together to build a healthier and safer future for our children. Prevention is always better than cure.

This message is from the Network Movement for Democracy and Human Rights in complementing the efforts of the Ministry of Health, EPI, and GAVI in promoting HPV and all other routine immunization across the country.
