UNICEF Education, in collaboration with the Child Protection Section, had a validation workshop for user-friendly Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials on School-Related Gender-Based Violence (SRGBV) e-referral pathways.

The purpose of this workshop is to review, validate, and finalize these draft materials ahead of printing and dissemination to schools. as a participant, we reviewed and refine scripts for awareness jingles in English and major local languages.

The Executive Director of Teens Hub Initiatives participated in a Youth Leadership and Engagement Symposium under the theme:
“Raising Responsible Boys and Empowered Girls for Safer Communities and Stronger Futures.” This was organized by Center For Gender and Social Justice at the Africell American Corner.
The symposium seeks to bring together pupils from various secondary schools in Freetown for meaningful conversations around positive masculinity, youth leadership, respectful relationships, gender equality, emotional intelligence, discipline, accountability, and the important role young people play in building safer and more inclusive communities for women and girls.
