Reliable Packaging for Safe Transport

At DP World Suriname, we ensure that our steel bars are packaged securely and efficiently for safe handling and transportation.
✅ Hot-rolled bars are typically bundled with a recommended weight of 10,000 lbs (4.5 metric tons) for optimal transport efficiency.
✅ Bundles are securely fastened using soft wire ties or tensioned steel bands, with ties placed approximately every 2 meters to ensure stability during transit.
✅ Heavier bundles generally provide better transportation efficiency and can help reduce handling costs for both customers and producers.

⚠️ For safety reasons, we do not recommend lifting bundles by the ties or handling them with magnets, as this may compromise the integrity of the load and create unsafe conditions.
