Ubuntu Community School

Last week, we had the privilege of visiting the Ubuntu Housing Project in Ibanda, Western Uganda. This initiative provides widows and their children with a place to call home, paired with permaculture practices to foster long-term self-reliance. Through Ubuntu, we build bridges and restore hope where it is needed most.

Our interventions are geared towards community development and transformation, we engage community active leaders in construction of a fence to safeguard our Ubufarms. We envision to provide a practical solution through community participation.

We train our learners on creative arts with a purpose of teaching them self focus and concentration.

Our small backyard practical project is doing well. This has been planted by our Primary Two learners during their focus and concentration session which equips them with knowledge on how to use available resources here recycling is highly practiced.
They are taught on a small agricultural farm project to prepare them for a better Horticulture farming in the near future.
