The Vatican can issue all the "historic apologies" they want, but the damage to the Black race is already done. You can't just say sorry for centuries of blessing the chains and colonization of our ancestors.

No statement will reverse the erased histories or the generational trauma Black people still face globally. This is exactly why I had to decolonize my mind. I refuse to worship a God introduced to us by the very institutions that justified our suffering. 🌍✊🏾

Life is best lived when anchored in compassion and honesty. The beautiful truth about compassion is that it doesn't belong to any single group. Nobody has to teach it to us—we are born with it. ❤️

​No matter where you go in the world, you will see the exact same things: a mom loving her child, people smiling when someone shows them compassion, the deep sadness we feel when we lose someone we love, the pure joy of laughing with friends, the basic need to feel noticed, heard, and appreciated, and the desire to fit in and belong somewhere.

​Let us not let religion, race, or origin divide us. Underneath the titles and traditions, we share the same heart. We are all simply human. 🕊️

It makes me emotional watching people waste their golden window. Right now, you have the strength, the flexibility, and the freedom to risk everything without the heavy baggage that comes later.

Soon, your energy will be split between raising kids, managing family responsibilities, and a body that can't grind like it used to.

My biggest fear? Reaching my sunset years and wishing I had just put more energy into my calling. Don't let the ghost of regret be your final chapter. Don't let your youth go to waste.

We are drowning in the daily hustle, pretending it’s normal to choose between food and fuel, while others fly past on roads we weren't even taught existed. 🌪️

That ache in our chests? That heavy, bitter thought keeping us awake at 2 AM?

That feeling isn’t jealousy. It’s our instincts screaming. It’s a wake-up call. ⚔️

We have been sold a lie. The "just put your head down and work harder" narrative is a rigged game designed to keep us comfortable in our struggle.

These pics were taken in 2020, What you see is a young man staring off into the distance. What you don't see is the reality behind the lens: I was sitting there with a completely empty stomach and a broken spirit.

At that time in my life, I was stressed beyond measure. I was constantly being talked down to, and I spent my quiet moments desperately wondering if a breakthrough was even written in my destiny. The company I was pouring my soul into couldn’t even cover my basic living expenses.

In pure survival mode, I applied for countless jobs just to make ends meet. Rejection after rejection followed. I couldn't even get hired.

The weight of it all brought me to my knees. I questioned my path, my purpose, and eventually, I started to look down on myself. The voices of the naysayers started to sound like the truth.

But looking back, I realize the profound truth in the words of Robin Williams:
“An empty stomach, a thin wallet, and a broken heart can teach you life's greatest lessons.”

That dark season didn't break me; it forged me. Hitting rock bottom taught me a level of resilience that no textbook ever could. The disrespect and the rejections didn't defeat me—they became the exact fuel I needed to bust my butt, put in the grueling hours, and prove to the world (and to myself) that my vision was worth everything.
