The film offers an immersive and moving sensory experience, telling the story of Julie, who tries to free herself from her emotions and memories following the tragic death of her composer husband and daughter in a car accident.

🎬 لقطات من ورشة صناعة الفيلم الروائي القصير المستقل التي أُقيمت في ملتقى هارموني الثقافي مع صانع الأفلام إيزيل ماناي (يزن الشمالي).

استمرت الورشة على مدار أربعة أيام، عاشها 14 مشاركًا ومشاركة. 🎥

🎞️ تناول اليوم الأول اكتشاف ماهية الفيلم الروائي المستقل وأدوات صناعته.

✍️ واليوم الثاني اكتشاف القصص وكيفية تحويلها إلى سيناريو.

🎬 أما اليوم الثالث، فتمحور حول تحويل الأفكار والسيناريوهات إلى مشاريع متكاملة، ما أُضيف إلى مشاهدة أفلام قصيرة ومناقشتها.

🎥 وفي اليوم الرابع، قُدّمت عروض للمشاريع وتم تقييمها بشكل جماعي، وأخيرًا التحدث عن المهرجانات وتوزيع الأفلام.

أربعة أيامٍ غنية فنيًا وسينمائيًا. ✨🎬

🎬 Scenes from the Independent Short Narrative Film Workshop, held at the Harmony Cultural Forum with filmmaker Yazan Al-Shamali.

The workshop ran over four days, bringing together 14 participants. 🎥

On the first day, participants explored what independent narrative filmmaking is and the tools used to create a film.

The second day focused on discovering stories and learning how to turn them into screenplays. ✍️

On the third day, participants worked on transforming their ideas and screenplays into fully developed projects, alongside watching and discussing a selection of short films. 🎞️

On the fourth and final day, the participants presented their projects, which were collectively evaluated, followed by a discussion on film festivals and film distribution. 🎬

Four days rich in art and cinema. ✨

The film follows Travis Bickle, a former U.S. Marine suffering from chronic insomnia and suffocating isolation after returning from the Vietnam War. Travis decides to work as a taxi driver in New York City, only to find himself face-to-face with the darker side of the city.

A glimpse from the closing celebration of the “Flavors & Melodies” project, implemented with the support of Action for Hope and in partnership with Harmony Cultural Forum.🌾

A project dedicated to reviving the rich culinary and musical heritage of Homs. ❤️

Throughout the project, women from the city came together to share recipes, cooking, songs, stories, love, and joy — bringing memories and traditions back to life.✨

The closing celebration featured:
• An exhibition documenting traditional Homs dishes
• Musical pieces inspired by Homs’ heritage
• The traditional Homs Arada
• Sheikhani dance

All brought together in a warm, joyful atmosphere that felt just like the days of Eid

🎥عن الفيلم : في يوم ١٤/٧/٢٠٢١ ، حدثت كارثة بألمانيا بسهل الآر تسببت بوفاة أكثر من ١٣٠ شخص ، وتحولت المدينة لمدينة أشباح ،
عبدو القادم من سوريا من مدينة حلب ، احد سكان الآر فايلر الآن ، يشارك أهلها الحزن و يسترجع مشاعر الخوف و العجز الذي سبق أن عاشها في أزمة ماضية من حياته .

🎞️ جفاف ( 2024)

🎥عن الفيلم: أثناء الحرب يموت الأب ، ويجتمع من تبقى من العائلة بعد سنوات من الفراق . ثلاثة أشقّاء يتعيّن عليهم التعامل مع علاقاتهم المتصدّعة ومع فقدان الأب .

⏰مدة عرض الفيلمين : 45 دقيقة .

📜عن المخرج : المراد الديب ولد عام ١٩٩١ ونشأ في حمص. يدرس حالياً إخراج سينمائي في أكاديمية كولون للفنون-ألمانيا. يسعى لإيجاد لغة سينمائية تمزج التعبير الشعري والتأملي، مع السرد التجريبي، يركّز في أفلامه على سرديات الذاكرة متأثراً برحلته الشخصية خلال الثورة، السجن، والمنفى.

Flut ( 2022 ) 🎞️
🎥 About the Film : On July 14th, 2021, a natural disaster occurred in the Ahr Valley in the Rhineland-Germany that claimed more than 130 lives. The town changed to a ghost town. Abdo, who came from Aleppo, Syria, is now a resident of the town. He shares in its people’s grief, reliving the feelings of fear and helplessness he had experienced during a previous crisis in his life.

🎥 About the Film : During the war, the father dies, the rest of the family gathers, after years of separation. Theee siblings must deal with their fractured relationships and the loss of their father.

📜 About the Director:
Al-Murad Al-Deeb was born in 1991 and grew up in Homs. He is currently studying Film Directing at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM), Germany. He seeks to develop a cinematic language that blends poetic and contemplative expression with experimental storytelling. His films focus on narratives of memory, shaped by his personal journey through the revolution, imprisonment, and exile.

أحيت فرقة جامعة حمص أمسية موسيقية استثنائية بعنوان " مقامات شرقية بنبض الجاز "
في باحة مركز ملتقى هارموني الثقافي
و بحضور كريم من نيافة الحبر الجليل المطران مار تيموثاوس متى الخوري راعي أبرشية حمص وحماة و طروس وتوابعها للسريان الأرثوذكس ، و الدكتور وليد خدام نائب رئيس الجامعة للشؤون العلمية ، و الدكتور عزّت خلّوف عميد كلية التربية الموسيقية و حضور واسع من المهتمين و الأكاديمين الموسيقيين .
قدمت الفرقة مجموعة من المقطوعات الموسيقية اللتي حملت الطابع الشرقي الكلاسيكي برفقة ايقاعات موسيقى الجاز العالمية ، في تجربة موسيقية هدفت الى احياء التراث بروحٍ معاصرة .
يومٌ آخر تحفظ فيه جدران الملتقى أجواء من المحبة و الألفة و الفن .

The Homs University Ensemble brought an exceptional musical evening to life under the title “Eastern Maqams with a Jazz Pulse”, held in the courtyard of the Harmony Cultural Center.

The evening was honored by the presence of His Eminence Bishop Mar Timothous Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Vicar of the Syriac Orthodox Archdiocese of Homs, Hama, Tartous, and their Dependencies; Dr. Walid Khaddam, Vice President of the University for Scientific Affairs; and Dr. Ezzat Khalouf, Dean of the Faculty of Music Education, alongside a large audience of music enthusiasts and academics.

The ensemble performed a selection of musical pieces that blended the character of classical Eastern music with the rhythms of international jazz, in a musical experience that sought to revive heritage through a contemporary spirit.

Another day in which the walls of Harmony preserve moments of love, warmth, togetherness, and art.
