💻🌍 ✦ 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗯… 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗮. 𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝘆𝗿𝗶𝗮. ✦

The ✦ SSSP Computer Course Series ✦ continues to grow, and this time our journey takes us to Latakia, where we launched a new training program in collaboration with ✦ Floka Association ✦, bringing together three groups of boys and girls.

Led by our trainer ✦ 𝗔𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗔𝗹 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗯 ✦, students are gaining hands on experience with computer basics, office programs, creating files and documents, and preparing presentations, while practicing each new skill directly on their computers. 🖥️

Looking at these moments, we see much more than a computer class…

We see focus, curiosity, and students learning through practice. With every session, they are discovering that technology is not something beyond their reach, but a skill they can learn, use, and grow with. 🌱

For us at ✦ 𝗦𝗦𝗦𝗣 ✦, what is happening in Latakia is part of a much bigger journey across Syria.

From ✦ 𝗗𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀 ✦ to ✦ 𝗜𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗯 ✦ and now ✦ 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗮 ✦, our goal remains the same: to give more children and young people the opportunity to develop ✦ 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 ✦ that have become an essential part of education, everyday life, and their future.

The ✦ 𝗦𝗦𝗦𝗣 ✦ team in Idlib welcomed a media team from Taiwan’s ✦ 𝗦𝗘𝗧𝗡 ✦, led by journalist ✦ 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗴 ✦, for a field visit to experience our educational projects and see their impact firsthand.

The visit began at the ✦ 𝗦𝗦𝗦𝗣 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 ✦, where the team explored the bookshelves, met the children, listened to their stories, and saw how this space has grown into a place for reading, learning, and interactive activities. 📚

From the library, the team continued to ✦ 𝗭𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗕𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 ✦, where they were welcomed by ✦ 𝗠𝗿. 𝗤𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗯𝗮 𝗔𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗵 ✦ and the SSSP team. There, they visited our computer courses and watched students develop their digital skills through hands on learning. 💻

What made this visit special was that it was not simply a tour in front of the cameras.

It was an opportunity for the journalists to sit with the children, speak with our team, and experience the everyday moments behind every project and every story.

At ✦ 𝗦𝗦𝗦𝗣 ✦, we believe it is important for the stories of our children to reach the world as they truly are… from their classrooms, through their own voices, and from the places where they learn every day.

💧🌍 ✦ 𝖲𝗈𝗆𝖾𝗍𝗂𝗆𝖾𝗌… 𝖺 𝖲𝗂𝗇𝗀𝗅𝖾 𝖶𝖺𝗍𝖾𝗋 𝖡𝗈𝗍𝗍𝗅𝖾 𝖢𝖺𝗇 𝖢𝗁𝖺𝗇𝗀𝖾 𝖺 𝖢𝗁𝗂𝗅𝖽'𝗌 𝖤𝗇𝗍𝗂𝗋𝖾 𝖣𝖺𝗒 ✦

At ✦ 𝗦𝗦𝗦𝗣 ✦, we believe that education begins with meeting a child's basic needs. One of the most important of those needs is ✦ access to clean water ✦. 💙

That is why we are proud to partner with ✦ 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼 ✦ to provide ✦ filtered water bottles ✦ to students in schools across Idlib, bringing together health, education, and sustainability in one meaningful initiative. 💧

In many parts of Syria, ✦ access to safe drinking water ✦remains a daily challenge, especially in schools where damaged infrastructure continues to affect children's health and learning.

But this initiative was about much more than distributing water bottles.

It was an opportunity for children to learn about ✦ the importance of clean water ✦, discover how the built in filter makes drinking water safer, and explore how the solar powered light can support them while studying, reading, or during power outages. ☀️📖

One of the most memorable moments came when the children switched on the light for the very first time. ✨

Smiles filled the room, and their excitement said everything. In that simple moment, a water bottle became more than just a bottle. It became a source of curiosity, confidence, and hope. 😊

At ✦ 𝗦𝗦𝗦𝗣 ✦, we believe that real impact is not measured by the number of items we distribute, but by the opportunities we create for children to live healthier lives, learn with confidence, and dream bigger.

For ✦ 𝟭𝟬 𝘂𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 ✦, our students discovered that learning a language is about much more than vocabulary and grammar.

Through the ✦ 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 ✦, 𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 ✦ 𝟯𝟬 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 ✦ came together every day to explore new cultures, discover different traditions, and experience the world without leaving their homes 💻🌎

From ✦ 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗞𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗮 ✦ to ✦ 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝘄𝗮𝗻 ✦, every session opened the door to a new country. Students explored local traditions, learned about famous foods, and even discovered how to say simple words like "Hello" and "Thank you" in different languages.

But the most valuable part of this journey was not the destinations.

It was the ✦ 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 ✦, ✦ 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 ✦, and ✦ 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 ✦ that grew stronger with every session.

A special thank you to our volunteer ✦ 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗜 ✦, whose passion and dedication turned every lesson into an inspiring cultural experience.

At ✦ 𝙎𝙎𝙎𝙋 ✦, we believe that learning English is not only about speaking another language.

It is about opening doors, discovering new cultures, and helping children realize that the world is much bigger than they ever imagined.

🌟 ✦ 𝘼 𝙅𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝘽𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙖 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚… 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙬 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 ✦

For ✦ 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗚 ✦, the journey was never easy.

Most of the students were studying in Turkish schools, which made adapting to ✦ 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 ✦ one of their biggest challenges from the very beginning.

𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 ✦ 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 ✦.

With just one lesson each week, one hour of learning, and consistent practice at home, those small weekly steps gradually turned into remarkable progress.

Today, the students have successfully completed ✦ 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝟭 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟮 ✦. They now read short stories with confidence, use English grammar naturally, and speak about themselves, their families, their hobbies, and their daily lives with growing confidence 📚💬

What makes us proud is not only what they have learned…

It is the ✦ 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 ✦ 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 ✦ 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 ✦ they have developed, and the commitment they have shown despite school exams and the challenges of everyday life.

At ✦ 𝙎𝙎𝙎𝙋 ✦, we believe that great achievements are built through consistency, encouragement, and the belief that every child has the potential to succeed when given the right opportunity.

You make us proud every single day, and this is only the beginning of an even greater journey. 💙
