Humans perform based on roles on the stage of time, much like a movie that plays on repeat endlessly.

Number1Gallery proudly presents a solo exhibition “Man’s Theatre” by Pongpon Preechanon. The exhibition invites viewers to explore and critique the transition between the rise and fall of humanity, trapped in an inescapable cycle of struggle, belief, war, and losing, which repeats itself from the past to the present, from witch hunts to battlefields, and from glorious civilizations to ruins.

The paintings in this exhibition serve as a testament to the drama of the 'Cycle of Humanity,' inviting viewers to contemplate the whirlpool of life, driven by faith and desire, which forms the backdrop of a play that continues to repeat on the wheel of eternal time.
มนุษย์ต่างสวมบทบาทอยู่บนเวทีแห่งกาลเวลา ไม่ต่างจากภาพยนตร์เรื่องเดิมที่ฉายวนซ้ำไม่รู้จบ

นัมเบอร์วันแกลลอรี่ ร่วมด้วยศิลปิน ปองพล ปรีชานนท์ นำเสนอนิทรรศการ “Man’s Theatre โรงละครแห่งความเป็นมนุษย์” เชื้อเชิญผู้ชมร่วมสำรวจและวิพากษ์รอยต่อระหว่างความรุ่งเรืองและความล่มสลายของมวลมนุษย์ ผู้ติดอยู่ในวงจรแห่งการต่อสู้ ความเชื่อ สงคราม และการสูญเสียอย่างมิอาจหลีกเลี่ยง ซึ่งดำเนินซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่าจากอดีตสู่ปัจจุบัน จากการล่าแม่มดสู่สมรภูมิรบ และจากอารยธรรมอันรุ่งโรจน์สู่ซากปรักแห่งธุลี

ผลงานในนิทรรศการครั้งนี้ เปรียบเสมือนประจักษ์พยานแห่งนาฏกรรมของ 'วัฏจักรแห่งความเป็นมนุษย์' ชวนให้ผู้ชมได้ใคร่ครวญถึงวังวนชีวิต ซึ่งถูกขับเคลื่อนด้วยศรัทธาและกิเลส อันประกอบสร้างเป็นฉากละครเรื่องเดิมที่ยังคงเล่นวนซ้ำอยู่บนกงล้อแห่งเวลาชั่วนิรันดร์

Nattiwut Choomanowat in Hotel Art Fair 2026

When the efforts of city dwellers to adapt lead to a truly marvellous way of life.
From cars parked all over the streets to tall buildings amidst the sea of Bangkok fog that appear even without anyone waiting for them.
The artist conveys the adaptation for survival and freedom in a chaotic world through surreal satirical works. Not only out of this world, but also a reflection of a world that has already broken free from rules.

เมื่อความพยายามปรับตัวของคนเมือง นำไปสู่วิถีชีวิตแสนมหัศจรรย์
ตั้งแต่รถราที่จอดเกลื่อนถนน ไปจนถึงตึกสูงท่ามกลางทะเลหมอกกรุงเทพที่ปรากฏขึ้นแม้ไม่มีใครเฝ้ารอ
ศิลปินถ่ายทอดการปรับตัวเพื่อความอยู่รอดและอิสรภาพในโลกไร้กฎเกณฑ์ ผ่านผลงานเสียดสีเหนือจริง
ที่ไม่เพียงแต่หลุดโลก หากเป็นการสะท้อนโลกที่หลุดจากกฎไปก่อนแล้ว

Warawut Tourawong in Hotel Art Fair 2026

The painting of humans amidst beautiful nature and the creation of traces on the canvas, like evidence of actions by the artist as a human, reflects an environmental problem that is likely to intensify. However, we can only make slight behavior changes and confront the remnants of the past that humans have unconsciously created.

The Putti series portrays the bodies of little angelic figures, from the womb to birth, which have been surgically altered and transformed to transcend human existence to reflects the state's violence against children and the attempts to justify these actions.

ผลงานชุด Putti นำเสนอเรือนร่างเทวดาองค์น้อย ตั้งแต่อยู่ในครรภ์มารดาจนถือกำเนิด ซึ่งถูกผ่าตัดและดัดแปลงให้เป็นสิ่งที่พ้นเกินกว่าความเป็นมนุษย์ สะท้อนถึงความรุนแรงของรัฐต่อเยาวชนและความพยายามแสวงหาความชอบธรรมของการกระทำดังกล่าว

Prawit Lumcharoen in Hotel Art Fair 2026
Existing amidst a chaotic world might just need some green space to relax and alleviate problems.
This concept inspired the character Moss Man, whose body is covered in lush green moss, resembling an armor that protects against the dangers of the current crisis.

ชีวิตท่ามกลางโลกอันแสนวุ่นวาย อาจต้องการเพียงพื้นที่สีเขียวเพื่อช่วยผ่อนคลายและบรรเทาปัญหา
แนวคิดนี้ต่อยอดสู่ผลงานคาแรกเตอร์ Moss man ซึ่งถูกมอสเขียวขจีปกคลุมทั่วร่างกาย เสมือนชุดเกราะป้องกันอันตรายจากวิกฤตปัจจุบัน
