GFT Thailand. Last week we participated in the AFG Open in Bangkok with many great fights. Great job everyone!!!

We would like to thank the organisers of AFG for putting on a great competition and helping our team.

This weekend Iko and Aviana competed in Korat. Aviana fighting one age division up won double silvers and Iko won triple gold!!!

GFT Thailand. We competed at the Thailand Rookie and Championships this past weekend. We had many rookies and some fighting for their first time in the Championships. A big shout out to the them for showing up - especially Dr. Johnathan.

Shout out to Art, Katy, Iko, Aviana and Nun - who all won double gold in Gi and NoGi.

Big congrats to Jonathan Espy who recieved his black belt from Prof Quinton and Prof Jorge on Saturday. Jon has been studing BJJ at CRT GYM since we opened the doors in 2015. Despite severals injuries to his knees Jon continued to keeping coming back. Well done Jon.

GFT Thailand. Big congrats to Iko (3 golds), Aviana (2 golds), Alex and Alissa who did a tremendous job at the KU competition. Train hard and win big!!!!

GFT Thailand. It took 9 years but we finally won 1st place team at the Siam Cup. The event was a lot of fun and we want to congratulate our friends from China who joined us and helped secure the placing.

Most importantly we want to congratulate those for who it is their first time competing. Showing up itself is half the battle.

GFT Thailand. Three of our students, Nun, Bam and Art medalled at the Thailand 2026 University Games in Chiang Mai. Bam and Nun won gold and Art bronze.

Other notable team members was X who had a very good match. We are all proud of everyone who attended from MFU.

GFT Thailand. The GFT Chiang Rai Team preparing for the upcoming Siam Cup competition on 31 January in Bangkok.

GFT-CRT. Iko won bronze at the U-14 JJIF World Championships. We are all proud of her as she continues her BJJ journey.

GFT Thailand. This weekend we attended the AFG competition in Bangkok. We won best team in No Gi and came second in Gi.

All the coaches are so proud of the students who in many cases fought 1 or 2 weight divisions above their normal fight weights.

We would like to thank the organisers of AFG who were kind to help in many ways.
