At Charm, our menu is packed with Asian flavours and plenty of Thai favourites, and these two Thai curries couldn't be more different.

🥜 Massaman Curry is creamy, dreamy, peanutty, with big chunks of potato and your choice of protein, and it's a beautifully mild option.

🌶️ Jungle Curry is fiery, fragrant, packed with Thai herbs, BIG on flavour; just be warned this one is super spicy!

If you're new around here... hello! 👋 We're Charm, a small, family-run Asian fusion restaurant tucked away in the heart of Fisherman's Village, Koh Samui.

The woman behind it all is Renata Winters, cook, host, and former MasterChef UK contestant. You'll find some of the dishes she cooked on MasterChef right here on our menu, alongside Thai favourites, Asian fusion creations, plenty of veggie options and a few familiar dishes for the little ones too.

But Charm has never just been about the food.

Renata is front of house most evenings, so expect her to stop for a chat, help you decide what to order, share a few Samui recommendations and possibly appear at your table with a cheeky shot when the right song comes on.

We're incredibly proud of this little restaurant we've created, and even more grateful for all of you who keep recommending it, returning every holiday and bringing new people through our doors.

"Returned for a second year for our anniversary and still the most charming place in Fisherman’s Village. Renata is definitely the hostess with the mostess: she makes sure everyone is happy and is definitely front of house. Good to know she has also opened Boozy next door; big well done.

So the food, well, I can truly say regardless of what you order, you won’t be disappointed. We had the chicken wings and spicy pork balls to start. I had the famous Master Chef blackened miso red snapper, and my husband had the slow-cooked beef cheek. Every single mouthful was out of this world. Sometimes, all you need is some spring rolls, a Pad Thai and mango sticky rice... 🥭

At Charm, we love playing with Asian flavours. Our menu is full of fusion dishes, unexpected combinations and a few Renata-style twists on the classics. But some things? You just don't mess with them. 😂

Crispy spring rolls to start, a proper Pad Thai for main and sweet, sticky mango rice to finish. No reinvention required. Just three classics that have earned their place for a reason.

If you know Thai food, you'll recognise the flavours, but at Charm, they all come with a Renata twist.

Like our Laab Moo Tod (spicy pork balls), Hor Mok Ma Prow (seafood curry served in a young coconut) and that famous Blackened Miso Red Snapper as seen on Masterchef UK each and every dish brings something unexpected.

It's Thai with a twist, served with a smile, and best enjoyed with a cocktail in hand 🍸

For Renata, one of the best parts of Charm has always been the people who walk through the door.

She loves nothing more than pulling up for a chat, hearing where you've travelled from, swapping stories, finding out what you've been up to in Samui and, very often, welcoming familiar faces back for another visit.

Some of you arrive as guests and leave feeling much more like friends. And judging by the number of hugs happening around here, we think Renata would happily spend half the evening chatting if the team let her 😂

Lately, so many of you have also been sharing your Charm experience on Instagram, & TikTok, and we really can't thank you enough. Your recommendations have brought lots of new faces through our doors and we're incredibly grateful for every single one.

It does mean we're VERY busy at the moment, with many evenings fully booked in advance. So if you're hoping to join us while you're in Samui, please book ahead rather than taking your chances on the night.
