🏀 Sports & Wellness — Building teamwork, confidence, and healthy habits through active play.
🖌️ Chinese Calligraphy & Painting — Exploring Chinese language and culture through traditional artistic expression.
🎯 Integer Jeopardy — Turning mathematics into a fast-paced challenge as students battled to demonstrate their understanding of integers!
📐 Exponent Posters — Students created educational posters to explain how and why exponents work, transforming mathematical concepts into something they could teach to others.

🎯 Understanding Your Child’s VRS³ Goals

Today, students are bringing home their completed VRS³ Annual Goal Sheet. These goals are much more than a worksheet — they are the starting point for each student’s growth and their SWLO Portfolio throughout the school year.

Through VRS³, students have identified personal goals across three important areas:

🔵 Valuecreation — How I create value and make a positive impact on others.
🔴 Resilience — How I bounce back, learn from challenges, and keep improving.
🟡 Sovereignty — How I think for myself, make wise choices, and take responsibility.

Students have also identified what evidence they will create to demonstrate their growth. Throughout the year, they will revisit these goals with their advisors, collect evidence, reflect on their progress, and build their portfolio.

💡 The goal isn’t perfection. The goal is growth.

Parents can support their children simply by asking:
“What is one of your VRS³ goals this year?”
“What will you do to show that you are growing?”

Together, we can help our students become learners, leaders, and people of impact.

Today, our students stepped beyond the flat page and brought their creativity into the third dimension! 🎨✨

During today’s art class with Ms. Muay, students explored 3-D clay modeling, transforming their ideas into unique three-dimensional creations.

Working with clay gave students the opportunity to develop:

👐 Fine motor skills through shaping and manipulating clay
🧠 Spatial thinking by understanding form, shape, and dimension
🎨 Creativity & imagination by turning ideas into original designs
💡 Problem-solving as they experimented, adjusted, and refined their creations
😊 Confidence & expression by creating something that was uniquely their own
