👨‍💼𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿: Prof. Dr.-Ing. Martien Teich, Munich University of Applied Sciences
📖𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘀: This talk follows the complete engineering process behind complex structural glass projects based on the speaker’s own experience. It discusses the journey from architectural vision to fabrication and installation, highlighting structural design, material behavior, connections, manufacturing constraints, and construction challenges. Selected projects—including the iconic ICONSIAM glass façade in Bangkok—illustrate how each phase of the process contributes to the successful realization of landmark architecture. The presentation concludes with an outlook on future developments, including sustainable design and the reuse of glass.

ภาควิชาวิศวกรรมและเทคโนโลยีโยธา สถาบันเทคโนโลยีนานาชาติสิรินธร มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ นำโดย รศ.ดร. มงกุฎ เพียรธนะกูลชัย หัวหน้าภาควิชา นำนักศึกษาที่เรียนวิชา CES341 Transportation Engineering and Planning จำนวน 30 คนเข้าศึกษาดูงาน ที่บริษัท ทางยกระดับดอนเมือง จำกัด (มหาชน) โดยได้รับการต้อนรับจาก ดร.สัณห์ พันธ์อุไร ผู้ช่วยรองกรรมการผู้จัดการ สายงานปฏิบัติการ พร้อมด้วยผู้บริหารจาก บริษัท ทางยกระดับดอนเมือง จำกัด (มหาชน) ได้รับฟังการบรรยายเกี่ยวกับงานวิจัยภายในบริษัท รวมถึงการศึกษาระบบบริหารจัดการจราจรบนทางยกระดับดอนเมือง และเยี่ยมชมการทำงานของ ศูนย์ควบคุมการจราจรและระบบควบคุมจราจรอัจฉริยะ (Operation Control Center: OCC) ณ สำนักงานใหญ่ บริษัท ทางยกระดับดอนเมือง จำกัด (มหาชน)
