เรื่อง การหยุดทำการของมหาวิทยาลัย

ตามที่คณะรัฐมนตรีมีมติกำหนดให้วันที่ 28–29 กันยายน 2569 เป็นวันหยุดราชการกรณีพิเศษในพื้นที่กรุงเทพมหานคร จังหวัดนนทบุรี จังหวัดปทุมธานี และจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ เนื่องจากสถานการณ์ฝนตกหนักและน้ำท่วมขังในหลายพื้นที่ ซึ่งส่งผลกระทบต่อการเดินทางของประชาชนนั้น

มหาวิทยาลัยรังสิต ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ในพื้นที่จังหวัดปทุมธานี จึงขอประกาศหยุดทำการในวันจันทร์ที่ 28 และวันอังคารที่ 29 กันยายน 2569 รวมทั้งงดการเรียนการสอนในรูปแบบออนไลน์ เพื่ออำนวยความสะดวก และลดผลกระทบที่อาจเกิดขึ้นจากสถานการณ์ดังกล่าวของนักศึกษาและบุคลากร

In accordance with the Cabinet's resolution designating 28–29 September 2026 as special public holidays in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, and Samut Prakan, due to heavy rainfall and flooding affecting travel across several areas.

Rangsit University, located in Pathum Thani Province, hereby announces that the university will be closed on Monday, 28 September and Tuesday, 29 September 2026. All online classes and teaching activities are also suspended during this period to minimize disruption to students and staff.

鉴于内阁已通过决议，批准将2026年9月28日至29日定为曼谷、暖武里府、巴吞他尼府及北榄府区域的特殊政府假日，以应对强降雨及多地积水受淹对民众出行造成的严重影响； 兰实大学因位于巴吞他尼府，特此宣布于2026年9月28日（星期一）及9月29日（星期二）暂停办公，并同步暂停线上教学活动，以便为广大师生员工提供便利，减少极端天气状况可能带来的不利影响。

เรื่อง การปรับรูปแบบการเรียนการสอนเป็นออนไลน์

จากสถานการณ์ฝนตกต่อเนื่องและน้ำท่วมในหลายพื้นที่ ซึ่งอาจส่งผลกระทบต่อการเดินทาง มหาวิทยาลัยรังสิต จึงขอปรับรูปแบบการเรียนการสอนเป็นออนไลน์ ทั้งระดับปริญญาตรี ปริญญาโท และปริญญาเอก ในวันที่ 26–28 กันยายน 2569

ทั้งนี้ ขอให้นักศึกษา อาจารย์ และบุคลากร ติดตามข้อมูลข่าวสารและประกาศจากมหาวิทยาลัยอย่างต่อเนื่อง และเดินทางด้วยความระมัดระวัง

*หากรายวิชาใดมีความจำเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่จะต้องเข้าพื้นที่ ขอให้ผู้สอนพิจารณาสื่อสารกับนักศึกษาในรายวิชาให้ชัดเจน

Subject: Transition to Online Teaching and Learning

Due to continuous rainfall and flooding in several areas, which may affect transportation, Rangsit University will transition to online teaching and learning for all undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs from September 26–28, 2026.

Students, faculty members, and staff are advised to closely monitor news and updates from the University and to exercise utmost caution when traveling.

For courses that require on-campus attendance, instructors are advised to communicate clearly with their students regarding the necessary arrangements.

This year’s theme explores the traces of memory, experience, identity, and stories that are remembered, inherited, reconstructed, and transformed across generations.

The symposium is hosted by the Council of Arts and Design Deans of Thailand (CADDT), the Association of Siamese Architects under the Royal Patronage (ASA), the Royal Photographic Society of Thailand, and the Thai Graphic Designers Association (ThaiGa). It is coordinated by the Faculty of Digital Arts, the College of Design, and the Faculty of Architecture at Rangsit University.

The International Arts and Design Symposium: “Work in Progress” (founded in 2012) is an international forum for scholars, designers, and artists from various fields to share and discuss their works in progress.

The theme of the 15th International Arts & Design Symposium 2026, “Postmemory,” explores what remains of the past and how it continues to shape the present. Memory is shaped by time, experience, and social context, and persists through traces such as images, narratives, objects, spaces, language, and emotions. These traces can be transmitted across individuals and generations, becoming continually reinterpreted and reconstructed through changing experiences and contexts.

Postmemory offers a framework for examining how experiences of the past are transmitted to those who did not experience them directly. Through images, stories, objects, media, and cultural practices, inherited experiences are received, interpreted, and reconfigured. The work of Marianne Hirsch constitutes one important theoretical foundation for understanding this process, alongside broader perspectives on personal, collective, and cultural memory, history, identity, migration, displacement, and mediated memory.

The theme invites artists, designers, and scholars to explore the relationship between past and present through diverse creative practices, including art, design, photography, video, installation, architecture, digital media, and other contemporary forms. It encourages critical and creative inquiries into how memories and traces are preserved, transformed, forgotten, or reconstructed across individuals, generations, and cultural contexts.

Ultimately, “Postmemory” considers how what is inherited from the past continues to influence perception, identity, and ways of understanding the world. It opens a space to examine not only what is remembered, but also how memory is transformed through transmission, interpretation, and creative practice—revealing how the past continues to acquire new meanings in the present.
