EVERYWHERE you look,
there's something TO BE SEEN.

PEEKABOO!

In the jungle, I could feel eyes all around me. The feeling of being watched and preyed on never left me. I inherited this trait from the time my ancestors feared everything behind the bushes. Once in a while, it's not just the wind, but a predator out for the hunt. And just like those long-gone people, I caught this fellow peeking at me at a glance before disappearing into the wild.
(Also, I didn't have the time to adjust my shot so it looks like crap, but I felt lucky nonetheless.)

CHASING HORIZONS

Thousands of seagulls, hundreds of ships, dozens of snaps and I still can't believe I shot this particular one.
I didn't even realise it until I went through my rolls way later.
Here's to another lucky shot.

SHE WALKS IN BEAUTY

A flamboyance of flamingos flocked before me. I had to wait for a while to capture one on its own. Then this one gracefully gaited by.
The elegance of its neck and curvature of its body- I knew I had captured something precious.

ODD COUPLE

Growing up, I always wondered how animals of a different species perceived and interacted with each other.
I came across these two after seeing tribes of monkeys picking on each other. The cow could not care less, and the egret seems to have been perching on the cow since forever, like two good friends just chilling.
Seems some just get along, and some don't.

Wandering around Changi, I came across a butterfly garden, and out came the camera.
Some of these guys are really shy and could not stay still. Except for this one, gently resting on red petals and casually enjoying its nectar.

Bugs' lives are simple.

WANDERER UNDER THE MOUNTAIN

At Pongong Lake, I spotted this person at the peninsula, surrounded by striking peaks, blue water and sky.
What captivated me were the strange, endless slopes down each peak, leaving a trail formed by melting ice over millions of years and ocean water when the earth was unrecognisable.

And here we are, a mere wandering gadfly to these ancient monuments.

STUMBLE FALL

Driving around Ubud, I came across a waterfall just as the sun was setting. Out came the camera and about a half an hour of waiting until I could get just enough people framed by the waterfall itself.
Another lucky shot.

BLACK SAND, BLUE SEA, BRIGHT SKY

Last day in Bali, I wasn't going to leave without seeing its iconic black sands forged by the volcano a million years ago.
Despite getting lost twice and having to make an imposible u-turn on a one way-curve on a hill, I found myself on those black sands, looking out at the blue horizon.
Then I went home.

SLENDER WHITE

The white heron stood above me, bathing the afternoon sun.
Sweltering as it was, I slowly snuck along the side, not scaring it away.
It stayed perfectly still.
Total poser.

ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD

Travelling alone, I visited a hot spring by a volcano and a lake. Looking out, I noticed the white boathouse over a lake with the mountain in the back.

For a moment, I felt I could have been anywhere in the world.
