🙌 Life changing experience with these majestic beauties in Vava’u, Tonga 🐋 SOUND ON 🔈 Swimming with humpback whales is a surreal, awe-inspiring experience... Being in the water with these gentle giants, their immense presence, yet graceful movements remind you of the delicate balance of nature and puts your entire existence into a whole new perspective. Ocean therapy is real... Humpbacks can grow up to 52 feet and weigh around 40 tons, yet they’re known for their playful behavior, often breaching and slapping the water with their fins. Every encounter is a reminder of their intelligence, curiosity, and importance to our oceans. The majestic beauty of whale watching in the Pacific is an experience like no other, but in places like Tonga, the industry is at risk of losing its balance. With unsustainable practices on the rise, unsafe tour operators, the pressure on these gentle giants and their environment grows. The incredible volunteers truly making an impact... Being the only Pacific country without a permanent vet!

Simply incredible flavours on a warm Tongan day at Mounu Island, we struggle to pick our favourite.

Starter - we have traditional Tongan Ota Ika, raw fish salad.
Main - Red snapper with an olive tapenade
Dessert - Soursop souffle

The food here is an art form—fresh, vibrant, and masterfully crafted to reflect the soul of the island. 🌿🍽️ 🌊✨
