On the southwestern edge of Serifos, Faros Villa sits almost alone above the bay of Megalo Livadi, where the island’s rugged landscape falls away into the Aegean. The property’s two historic residences feel embedded within their surroundings: stone, shaded verandas, simple interiors and views stretching out across the water. Days here belong largely to the landscape — a stone path leads down to the sea, another towards a quiet sunset spot at the edge of the bay, while the remnants of Megalo Livadi’s mining past give this otherwise elemental setting another layer of history.
