I am delighted to have participated in the symposium Witnessing the World Otherwise: Testimony, Community, and the (Post-)Human with my paper, “Cartographic Witnessing and the Wounded Surface of Testimony.”
Drawing on my ongoing postdoctoral research in cartography and visual culture, the paper develops the concept of cartographic witnessing through a close engagement with Georges Didi-Huberman’s Écorces (Bark), proposing a new way of thinking about testimony through material traces, wounded surfaces, and landscapes of memory.
I am especially grateful to the organisers for their generosity, kindness, and thoughtful invitation. It is a great honour and joy to know that, during the next academic year, I will have the opportunity to visit the University of Oxford and further develop these conversations by presenting this research in person as part of a seminar.
I look forward with great excitement to continuing this dialogue and sharing this work with such an inspiring scholarly community.

Zaman, Beden Duygular: Felsefe kampında ilk dersimde Gilles Deleuze’ Beden Feldefesi-Organsız Beden ve Batı metafiziğine Kartezyen ikinciliğe karşı çıkış olarak Rizom kaçış çizgilerinden hareket etmeye çalıştım, Performatif Felsefenin kurucusu olan Demet hocanın tüm derslerine katılmak benim için çok büyük şanstı, hatta ilk gün Demet hoca neredeyse Lecture Performance ortaya koydu. İkinci derste onun açtığı Ponty, Spinoza, bedenin eyleme kudretinden yola çıkarak Blanqui, Benjamin- Deleuze arasında bir takımyıldız kurmaya çalışarak zamanın kıvrımları dersini yaptım, Çok keyifliydi,Huberman’ın kabuklar metnine de değinmeden edemedim, Son ders ise Organsız Bedenin topografyası olarak, Yüzün Topografyası ve Duygulanım imaj üzerinde. çağdaş sanat, performatif metinler özellikle Francis Bacon’ın yüz ve baş ayrımı ile Artaud”un “The Human Face and Other Writings on his Drawings” üzerinde durduk, Çağlar Hocanın Beden Felsefesindeki Yüz ve Baş ayrımı bizi nereye taşır soruyla da ciddi ve oldukça ilham verici bir tartışmanın içinde bulduk kendimizi, ✨🍀
