During his dual international debut representing Türkiye Rugby Union (15-a-side), Errol Carter suffered a catastrophic spinal injury that led to multiple emergency surgeries and permanent neurological damage. He is now facing an even greater challenge with a diagnosis of aggressive brain cancer.
As a player and as a friend, Errol has touched everyone around him. His courage, resilience, and unwavering spirit have left a lasting impact on teammates, coaches, and the wider rugby league and rugby union communities.
Despite everything, he continues to fight for his health, his independence, and his future.
