One of the highlights of our time in Arusha was meeting the women involved in Perfect Vision Women Tanzania and taking a cooking class with them. We were so inspired by the work this organization is doing to provide women with healthcare, education, and career skills and loved getting to learn more about traditional Tanzanian cooking!

Applications for the 2026-2027 LIVE Team will be available on the first day of the school year - one week from today!

We’re still reminiscing about our time in Tanzania, but the start of a new school year means we’re also getting ready for another great year of LIVE Club!

Applications for our 2026-2027 team will be available starting the first day of school - Wednesday, August 19th! We’ll be looking for current Nordhoff High School students who are passionate about service, travel, and working hard with a team to make it happen!

Throughout our week of service at a primary school in Arusha, our team removed the damaged concrete flooring and installed new floors in two classrooms! We left our service site everyday sweaty, dirty, and sore, but happy to have the chance to make a difference in these elementary school classrooms! We loved working with on this project.

After a week of service in Arusha, we embarked on a safari in Serengeti National Park! We camped in the Serengeti and Ngorogoro Crater and experienced the beautiful animals of Tanzania up close and in their natural habitats.

Our team is in Arusha, Tanzania this week, where we are working at Kiranyi Primary School to renovate classroom floors. We are so excited to continue our week of service and to further explore and learn more about Tanzania!

One more appreciation post for our LIVE Club Seniors! We are so thankful for your dedication to LIVE throughout the years and proud of the leaders and mentors you have become!
