Handeni School Project

We will upload content regarding fund raising and charity based efforts and the ongoing construction and development of the school and its infrastructure. We will follow and report on the progress of setting up a rural school in Handeni, Tanzania. Documenting the fund raising, sourcing and installation of solar panels for the school, the sinking of a well for running clean water for the school, and finally the setting up of rural off grid star link internet connection for a small network of Raspberry Pi’s. This will provide the the school with the means to educate the children of the rural communities of Handeni utilising the versatility of the raspberry pi to teach everything from basic computer skills to advanced computer programming by taking advantage of the support from raspberry pi foundation giving the children the opportunities and tools to compete and thrive in an ever increasingly technologically driven world.
