Kitara Civil Society Organizations' Network (KCSON) is a network of civil society organizations operating in Kibaale district. It was registered in August 2003 as an NGO with Kibaale district local government and the Uganda National NGO Board under Registration number S. 5914/4597 with the current permit running up to 2022. Our Vision is a vibrant and coordinated civil society where development is obtained in a just and peaceful society. KCSON is a Member of:

KCSON continued the with community members of Kyomukama, Kagadi District, creating space for citizens to identify priority issues and amplify their voices for better service delivery. Key concerns raised included inadequate access to clean water, low staffing in primary schools, and challenges in accessing healthcare. Citizens urged all leaders to act and address these pressing community needs.

Today, KCSON engaged community members of Nsugasugi, Kagadi S/C (Kagadi District) under the SCEPA project implemented with . Through “TopowaConversation,” citizens voiced key issues for action by leaders. Together, we strengthen .
During the conversation, citizens also prioritized clean water, better roads to access markets, and improved staffing in gov't schools for their communities. "We need capable & leaders to solve these issues" one citizen highlighted.
