I am honored to have graduated from the for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) Uganda - Cohort 8.

Receiving my Certificate from the Embassy of the U.S. Department of State in Uganda was a proud moment - not just for me as Ruth Nazzinda, but for my journey as a filmmaker, multi media artist and creative entrepreneur navigating the challenging creative space in Uganda.

The AWE program has been transformative. It equipped us with practical tools to build a sustainable and competitive enterprise in the creative sector, and connected me to a powerful network of women who lead with resilience in Uganda’s creative economy Bitone Art Reels (BAREEL)

I am so honored to be part of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs(AWE) uganda AWEinUganda Cohort 8

It’s been months of Learning, Building, Connecting and Growing with incredible women entrepreneurs in Uganda’s creative sector.

As an independent filmmaker, this program has given me not just business skills, but a sisterhood, mentorship, and the confidence to lead my organization even when civic space is challenging.
