🤟🏾💙 Happy International Week of Deaf People!

We celebrate Deaf people, Deaf culture, and Sign Language. Let’s promote inclusion, equality, and communication for all.

Communication is a Human Right. 🤟🏾

Yesterday , we were happy to welcome Jackie and Brenda to the MCSLI office. ❤️ They studied Sign Language at Kyambogo University and have finished their studies. They are now waiting for graduation this year. 🎓

They visited our office, practiced using their voice while watching a person sign in a video on a laptop, and learned many new signs. We encouraged them to meet and practice with the Deaf community often. More practice will help them improve their Sign Language skills. 🤟🏽💻👏

We are praying for both of them and wishing them a good journey ahead. May God bless and guide them in their future. 🙏🏽❤️

🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

To all Muslim brothers and sisters a joyful and peaceful Eid Mubarak.

May this special celebration bring happiness, love, unity, good health, and blessings to you and your families.
