Today, my heart breaks for many young girls in our rural villages who miss school, lose confidence, and suffer in silence simply because they cannot afford sanitary pads. Some are even exposed to dangerous situations and exploitation just to meet a basic need.

As Christians, we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus — to restore dignity, show compassion, and bring hope where there is pain. Every girl deserves to feel valued, protected, and supported.

We may not change the whole world at once, but through love, kindness, and action, we can change someone’s world. 🙏🏾

Through menstrual hygiene awareness and reusable sanitary pads, we are restoring dignity, protecting futures, and keeping girls in school.

May is a powerful reminder that something as natural as menstruation should never be a source of shame, fear, or limitation. Yet for many girls and women, especially in underserved communities, managing their periods safely and with dignity remains a daily struggle.
Menstrual hygiene is not just about having sanitary products ,it is about access, education, confidence, and respect. It is about ensuring that a girl does not miss school because she lacks a pad. It is about protecting her health, preserving her self-esteem, and giving her the freedom to participate fully in life.
In many communities, silence and stigma still surround menstruation. Girls grow up confused, unprepared, and sometimes ashamed of their own bodies. This must change. Open conversations, proper education, and supportive environments are essential in breaking these barriers.
Every effort counts whether it is sharing knowledge, encouraging young girls, or simply treating menstruation as the normal and natural process that it is. When we support menstrual hygiene, we are not just providing care—we are restoring dignity, empowering futures, and building stronger communities.
