Equity2012

“Equity 2012” is a non – profit organization working to sustainably secure the rights and needs of socially-disadvantaged children in a gender sensitive manner with special emphasis on the plight of the girl child and children with disabilities. Founded in 2012, “Equity 2012” is registered in Uganda under the national NGO registration statute and policy as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and is mandated by article 1. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.” The organization is guided by the UN convention on the rights of the Child. At national level “Equity” activities are harmonized by: The National Orphans and Other Vulnerable children policy and the National Strategic Programme Plan of Intervention for orphans and other vulnerable children (NSPPI)
