Art & Authors wrapped up last week with a reading of The Watermelon Seed and Froggy’s Lemonade Stand. The kids then got creative, making watermelon slices and lemonade glasses that were so good they could have been eaten and drunk! On the final day, they celebrated with fun dirt desserts, complete with gummy worms! Have a blast in the last few weeks of summer!

💥 Talk about a GRAND SLAM! ⚾️ Over the past two weeks, our Brewers Basics class knocked it out of the park learning the ins and outs of baseball. But the absolute biggest HIT? Designing and creating their very own custom ball caps! 🧢🔥 These young MVPs are looking stylish and ready for game day! 🏆

Ms. Nordwig’s and Mrs. Waeghe’s classes made campfires this week to go with the LitCamp theme. Today, their ants-on-a-log snack project joined the fun!

🍪 Cookie lovers, rejoice! MasterChef has been on a serious baking streak lately. Our student chefs tackled three delicious recipes: warm chocolate chip cookies, sweet cinnamon-sugar snickerdoodles, and colorful Tie-Dye friendship cookies! Safe to say the kitchen smelled amazing, and the cookie jars didn't stay full for long! 🤤🎨✨

Is your child ready to learn some new moves? OFHS is hosting a CHEER CLINIC for girls and boys ages 4-14!
Here’s the deal: 🧡 When: Monday, August 24th at Noon 🧡 Where: OFHS Commons 🧡 Includes: Clinic, snacks, pizza, a t-shirt, and cheering during the first half and halftime performance! 🧡 Perform: Show off your skills at the JV Football game vs. Waupaca (5:00 p.m. at ST Paper Stadium)
Wait, there’s more! Admission to the game is FREE for everyone, and concessions will be available for purchase. Come support our JV and Varsity teams and watch the wonderful performance with the clinic participants!

🏕️ Work hard, play hard! LitCampers spent the day striking the perfect summer balance—getting outside for some sunshine and playground fun, then settling in to write their own stories. Sunshine for the body, storytelling for the mind! ☀️📝

We are s’more than impressed with today’s LitCamp creations! ⛺️🔥 Look at these adorable, edible camping scenes! Our campers crafted tiny graham cracker tents, pretzel campfires, and little Nilla Wafer people snug in their sleeping bags. (How cute are those happy and sad faces?!) 🍪😋

From building lasting friendships and getting creative with hands-on crafts to enjoying delicious snacks and endless fun, there is never a dull moment in Mrs. Shamburek's classroom! 🎨🍿
